I gotta say, the shots of 'Jurassic Park' every commercial break can get annoying, but props to those fans for standing outside all game.
i feel like these days i rarely hear people on the podium work the refs, at least not like the ritual it used to be back in the day. almost everyone just says they call what they call and leaves it at that (i think part of the whole "no excuses" mantra most players/coaches seem to have drilled in their heads whether it means anything or not). i don't think it looks that good to complain that much and about several different topics when you just won. i'd probably say cleveland got away with more physical contact than toronto but it's not like cleveland lived at the line or anything. and 4-28 for love and irving. man. even lowry/derozan haven't come close to that in the playoffs. outscored by 36 by lowry/derozan tonight.
JV will most likely be back next game. Raptors should play JV at the 5 and Bismack at the 4, instead of Scola
i feel like it means more if you've got some sympathy from the loss or a big disparity to point to. but when you seemingly bring up any and every facet of the game and say you're just not getting any calls it doesn't seem like it would have as much impact.
The Cavaliers' three-point shooting in the conference finals: Game 1: 35% Game 2: 33% Game 3: 34.1% Their hot streak is definitely over, this team is going to get crushed by whomever wins the West.
Lebron has the thunders number. He kept it pretty close against warriors last year. The problem is they didn't have enough fire power last year. I think they have a chance against the warriors. The west wasn't really that great this year.
Outside the Atlanta series, the Cavs haven't looked much better this year than last. Nor did the Warriors have much trouble dusting them by 30 with the Cavaliers' full squad. I think people are overrating how much difference Love and Irving will make...they add firepower, sure, but they take away defense, which is how the Cavs kept it close for a little while in last year's Finals. The Warriors have made Love look like he's never played basketball before on defense...completely befuddled on pick-and-rolls. You're right that the Thunder probably won't crush the Cavaliers, but I guess I'm already assuming the Warriors go through. The West wasn't as strong top to bottom this year, but the Warriors and Spurs were on another level from Cleveland. The Spurs just ran into a particularly bad match-up for them.
