Correa is just sort of a replacement level guy. Thats the part I think that tricks me into thinking we should be better. I keep thinking we have the correa that I was hoping to have in there, but we just have a mediocre three hole hitter.
I just don't think its all mental. Coming off a ton of innings last year, with stuff that has to be razor-sharp and at a decent enough velocity to be effective.

Get him out Hinch I don't know exactly what is wrong, but it can't be total coincidence that he threw a huge number of innings and now he isn't the same. Unless there is some kind of mechanical issue that they KNOW about and are working to fix, and haven't been able to, I would strongly consider sitting him for a few weeks.
Correa is struggling right now but he also ripped the ball into outs consistently against the sox. It'll balance out and he'll be fine. Everyone expected him to be MVP this season and that maybe wasn't fair. Look at Bryce Harper's numbers up until his MVP year last season. Should probably expect closer to that.
