Any news of Southeast Houston, particularly Clear Lake/League City? Have relatives and friends in the area.

It's all good in the hood in league city. Only minor flooding around noon yesterday.

Thanks, man. Too late to call/too early to call! Up all night being crazy with the significant other, doing unspeakable things, when I discovered the flooding news during a break. An official Blade Runner pat on the back coming your way. :)-

Went into work by Greenspoint.. 45 S and Airtex. Drove from City Centre area with no issues. Seems all the water has receded. On another note, the drive was very fast as hardly any cars out there.

Absolutely impossible to get to the Energy Corridor from the Cypress area. Every road is closed just north of I-10. So you drive all the was down there, get so close, and have to go back home. 2 hours on the road with an angry infant in the back. Good times.

Aren't there online maps or something with the road closures on them?

Well my wife successfully made the trip so I thought I could too. But they closed roads right after her and right before me.

Some nasty weather on the way. Lots and Lots of rain.

Just stepped out @ work, it's almost as dark as night.....

Hopefully, this doesn't turn out too significant of a storm to affect commutes tonight.

My street floods on the slightest provocation now, so I'm probably not getting home today.

It's currently 69 degrees on May 19th past noon. Big fan, love rain. Only want sun on the weekends.

My balls certainly are thankful for the lack of high-temperature with high relative-humidity.

Btw, there is a new layer at earth.nullschool.net - the three hour precipitation forecast.

One of our drivers sent me a picture of a tornado in Lake Jackson. Still made his delivery though! What a champ.
