Les: "Daryl, I think what the team needs is a head coach who's father used to be an NBA head coach. Where can we find such a person?" Morey: WTF? Maybe he's getting senile. <BR>
more diarrhea sht from rockets org why do the gods proceed to ram c*ck in f**king ass to rockets fans? why cant rockets just build an nba level team absent mental r****dation? EXPLAIN YOURSELVES TODAY ROCKETS! EXPLAIN YOURSELVES VERY ****IN WELL!
So, the Rockets front office said they are looking to get someone with defensive expertise and head coaching experience, so the two finalists are D'Antoni (offensive guru) and Stephen Silas (only head coaching experience is coaching the Charlotte summer league team). SMH...
genius move for Silas if, say, he comes here to be MDA's defensive assistant and the two of them really turn this thing around. Silas gets to write his ticket to anywhere he wants for his next gig as a HC
or maybe they want silas as the coach and D'Atoni as the assistant.. Lol- this org. is a joke.. It cant get any worse right
I'm glad we have a candidate who has a wealth of NBA coaching experience and a name we heard before. So happy the Rockets has a way to find NBA coaching studs.
I don't like hiring people who seem to be just good at everything. I need the coach to have a unique strength in addition to being good at everything else. I feel like if Silas had any obvious strength after 16 years of coaching, it would be somewhere in the media. What the hell does he do well? WHY are they considering him? If he good with player management, development, offensive systems, defensive systems, what is he?
How is this nepotism when Silas literally has nothing to do with the Rockets organization right now?? It's not called nepotism when somebody gets an interview based on his merits.....no matter who his father is.
It was nepotism when JB and Stephen Silas got their foot in the door. At some point, those two benefited from having NBA coaching dads.
