Still not convinced he's what we need.

Plus KD's touches would take away from DMo's touches. Not a fan of that.

Hey if you want him to keep up his elite boxing out you have to give him the ball on offense.

I disagree. DMo provides TEAM BALL and WILL TO WIN regardless of how many touches he gets. His box outs are elite regardless of circumstance. This is why he is a true star in the making, while Durant just likes to score from time to time.

You know I don't blame DMO fans because we had a glimpse of him in 2014-15....so I understand the optimism some fans have for him.

In fairness, when Morey and Les originally planned to go after Durant, they thought he'd be joining a Rockets team as good as the one that reached the WCF only with a healthy D-Mo and a Ty Lawson who hadn't forgotten how to play the game of basketball. And that would've been a pretty good pitch to make.

But clearly if they still harbor this fantasy of signing Durant, they need to abandon it quickly. If they waste even 10 seconds on pursuing him starting midnight July 1, they have no business ever being involved with professional sports again.

At what point does this thread get closed or moved to "NBA Dish" since there is no chance that Durant comes here (except in an opponent's uniform).

I ask the koolaid slurpers that kept throwing irrational reasons at me before...why would anybody come to this dumpster fire unless they were getting paid twice as much?

Lol, why is Durant going to leave a team that has already shown that they are capable of running the champs out of the building, who are also very young with Adams, Westbrook, Ibaka, Waiters, Kanter, and Roberson still with many prime years remaining.

Why would he leave an arguably better player and an alpha in GOATbrook along with a well coached team to join a beta in Harden and a dysfunctional team with a moronic Gm who disrespects coaching?
