Dwight is man enough to talk to the media but too soft to demand a bigger role to his coach and teammates?

    Kobe was right.

He was already gone...not sure why for someone it wasn't obivous...

Anyway Dwight is 30 years old and still acts like a kid...he failed to be a man in Orlando, he failed to be a man in LA and he failed to be a man here too...looking forward to see who's going to make him happy. Too bad nobody wanted to trade **** for him in February.

This guy runs to the media every time he has a story tell.

    It's them, not me!

3 franchises now. No, it's not them, it's YOU!

    Orlando, Los Angeles, Houston

He's gonna fool one more team into giving him a large deal and thinking he's the "missing piece" [if used "correctly"].

Dwight wanted to be more involved

    Translation: Dwight wanted more post-ups

Morey said they didn't want to have him more involved

Translation: Morey is a realist, didn't sugarcoat the truth.

No, Dwight gets his touches. Rockets TRIED to make it work, it wasn't working.

They trained him with Hakeem, he went to LA and worked some with Kareem, he simply CAN NOT DO IT. It's that simple. At some point you have to realize your strengths and capitalize on them. Dwight continues to want the team to cater to a weakness he has and to the detriment of the team. Well no wonder then the team was split if you have a Star player going to the GM demanding more touches.

Capela is a much better PnR defender than Dwight and will have a breakout season next year.

Lord help the team that tries to make this guy a focal point of the offense. Dwight pouts when the following happens:

    1) Force to pick and roll
    2) Doesnt get the ball in the post when he wants
    3) Gets the ball int he post too quickly
    4) Has to make a decision in the post quickly
    5) Doesn't have the offense revolve around him
    6) Refs make calls he doesnt agree with
    7) Other players man him up
    8) Other players call him soft
    9) Gets criticized by media

Dwight was a mistake, we should've seen the writing on the wall. How crazy is it that this team would've been better off with Kyle Lowry.

He was garbage in the post and he can't make free throws.

It's crazy to me that he has been working with Hakeem for 3 years and STILL doesn't have a post move.

I miss having a big man who can score in the post, make free throws, and defend aka Yao.

Did you actually watch most of the games?

He got the ball in the post repeatedly and would just pass out of it:p

Dwight 10+ years in the league and still no post game to demand the ball as if he had one. 80% of the time he either turns it over or clanks one. Even if he gets fouled he's terrible at the line

"I know what it takes to be effective"...yea if you did you would focus more on being a PnR player rather than trying to painfully post up

He is going to fool one more team, especially if he's leaving the Rockets because of not getting enough post touches.

As long as he thinks he should be a main offensive option he's going to ruin teams because everyone sees what happens when you get him the ball. If Dwight was down there doing work then no one would question it, but hes' not.

DMO's post game is in question but at least he makes a move and you go "Ahhh, that was nice..." if it goes in or not. With Dwight you go "WTF is that $%&@ he's doing?"

Shaq and Charles used to clown on his low post game for years too.

Exactly. This guy is a 30 years old man, 12 year veteran and he acts like a 19 years old rookie...welp, good luck for the future.

I was hopeful he could've grown into a better player/man here with McHale, Hakeem...but he failed...again.

Wait, so Dwight went to the gm about his role and was told to defer to Harden and he was shocked to hear this from the gm (who he approached) and not the coach of which neither played professional basketball so Dwight doesn't respect their opinion either way. Smh, the fact that Dream, who worked with Dwight in practice, who never does anything publicly came out publicly and said basically "the center position is now hybrid evolve or die" should've told Dwight that his time here was over

That's probably because half of his post touches ended with a TO instead of a FGA.

Anyway, this reminds me of that awkward moment a few years ago when SVG was talking on camera how he was back-stabbed by Dwight and Dwight just walked in and acted like he was cool with SVG.
