End up being beaten to death for trying to escape.

The purpose of this news article isn't to draw sympathy for teenagers being manipulated, but to continue to highlight the ease at which "moderate" muslims are jumping the shark. Young. Old. Boy. Girl. It doesn't matter. The rhetoric, the ideology, laid out by good ol Mohammed, does nothing but encourage them to make the jump.

Stand up for the freedom of humanity and push for reform. Pressure muslims to do away with contemptuous rhetoric for the countries they live in, freely.

The propaganda being spread by ISIS isn't that different than what you hear in the underbellies of mosque's and muslim's talking amongst themselves.

It's why despite living in the year 2015... so many are jumping ship.

This is all a BS attempt to try and paint 'normal' Muslims in a bad light.

You hear that, do you? You personally are vouching that ISIS propaganda represents normal Muslim thought, which you are familiar with from your time in mosques and among Muslims.

Oh, and what's a good way to "pressure Muslims" in other countries?

And what about the 4,000 other departees this year?

Let me guess the excuse. It's not too bad in the grand scheme of things.

It's called homegrown terrorism and it is a very, very real threat. Reading the profiles, none of these are radical refugees who lost loved ones due to American missiles.

They're normal citizens set alight by the thought of the ultimate form of glory in Islam - dying by killing nonbelievers.

And the moderate silence remains deafening.

It's pretty clear that trustme is not "moderate". So it's not like all American Muslims are moderate.

Leaving home to join a terrorist group is "normal"? You aren't normal.

So two girls/their family live in a terrible war torn area.

Austria, agrees to grant them asylum and help support them. Allows them to practice their religion and live in a safe and progressive country.

They decide they will support an organization that would gladly kill everyone in the country that granted these people asylum.

They travel to Syria and are used in propaganda that is used to support people to join an organization that kills people, oppresses people based on Islam.

One of the girls dies in battle and the other girl is beaten to death for trying to get back to the country that gave her and her family asylum.

Nope, don't feel bad for either girl. They had it coming.

Also it is absurd that there are Muslims walking around Europe that went to fight for Muslim extremists in the Middle East and then returned to the creature comforts of the West. They should all be in prison.

    Obviously not.

The question you need to ask yourself is .. how blurry has the line between normal and fundamentalist become, and why do moderates stubbornly allow it? Never hinting at any need for reform in an ideology that desperately needs it - but defensively making excuses and deflecting blame.

Right now, it's ego that is creating an increased sense of alienation for Muslims in the West. Not the evil white man.

We just need the moderate teenagers to speak out against the stupid and gullible ones. That'll solve that problem.

Thanks for pointing out the similarities between moderate muslims and teenagers. In a civilized society, adults are held accountable for their actions and inaction when it's necessary. We're talking about people with fully developed brains and post puberty - however repressed it is.

You can't hide from the world forever, cuz sho'nuff,

the world gon come to you.

Don't cater to moderates - force them to take back their religion.

    Moderate teenagers: Teenagers

What's the common theme here? At the end of the day, they're still teenagers.

    Moderate muslims: Muslims

What's the common theme here? ...

Kudos for bringing light to the issue , however accidental it was.

    Check mate.
