Wow. Another great star under Adelman, and the best he could do was 2 conference finals over a 25 year coaching career.

The hero worship of Rick Adelman by a select group of fans on this site is bizarre. Adelman was a solid to good NBA head coach and nothing more. He coached for 35 years and never won an NBA title. His offense was efficient and productive but overall never was good enough to win a title.

You like him as a coach more than Van Gundy? Okay, but that is like saying you prefer Parsons to Ariza. Who cares? We aren't discussing all time greats.

Tinman is trolling per usual. I almost feel bad for a person going through such personal issues, but alas.

But RA is a HOF coach. The timing simply didn't line up well with the Rockets and a lot folks can't understand that or let that go.

To be honest (you may be right about him), but that statement isn't exactly fair. I think most people that use this site donate. I myself have definitely contributed every yr (need to this year), but don't have the tag over. Its not a big deal, but it shouldn't assumed that people don't contribute to the site like that.

It's all the same, as it's an anonymous forum so I don't mind looking silly when I don't fact check something sufficiently. I'd prefer that over sticking to narratives and being stubborn when one is wrong.

But hey, if paying some money makes you feel better then sure.
