I kinda agree with this, McHale was basically a cheerleader on the bench, D'Antoni is a real coach, with flaws, but a real coach. But still, there're better options out there FOR THIS team. Anyway, Morey would have an easier job with another owner, someone able to let him tank or pick a coach...just saying...
It reflects poorly on him. The rockets had one of the most laughable defenses in the league last year...it falls on the GM whether it is his decision or not, so if I were him I'd think about it at least or have a long conversation with that ghollum looking creature that runs this team.

if i were morey i would. if MDA doesn't work out it will be morey that gets blamed in the media, hurting his chances at laning the next job. and he will probably be fired by les, even though he's trying to talk les out of hiring MDA... so yeah its a lose/lose situation for morey, he should resign if les insists on MDA. now lets assume that its not only les who wants MDA, if morey actually wants him too then he deserves to be fired lol. so either way, MDA = morey gone.
