Nah, you don't mean it. They're still the Rockets, two time NBA champions, the only major championships this city has ever had. Maybe he won't get the job.

    Seriously?? SERIOUSLY?!?

I don't want to turn this into a political discussion, but this feels like the current presidential election. There are several good options that are mentioned or in the running- obviously some better than others- but instead we end up with the worst possible choices (Clinton vs Trump)

No No No on Pringles as HC. Make him assistant coach. He can't manage egos. he couldn't sell Dwight nor Kobe nor Gasol on his offense. He had to bench Gasol.

He can only coach small ball. He's another version of McHale.

You can make him an assistant but not an HC.

Didn't you hear? He was excused for the Lakers & Knicks **** show & dysfunction. He was dealt a bad hand there, or something like that.

With the Rox, he's stepping into a perfect situation. No bad hands dealt here. No dysfunction here. Durable & healthy roster here.

I cant believe we ended talks with JVG. He's the only coach I can think of since Rudy that actually made an impact on the team. IMO Adelman benefited from JVG's coaching, and our coaching has been subpar ever since Adelman's departure. Would have been ideal to have JVG back as coach.....

Outside of maybe Phil Jackson and Popovic (Who has only ever been with one team and one group of players) nearly every coach had a failed stint here and there somewhere.

So I don't think that is an indicator at all that he's going to fail here.

JVG never had a team of great shooters. Yao & T-mac + scrubs was the best team he ever coached.

What makes him so good? He's an expert at getting the most out of what he has. He took an 8th seeded Knicks teams to the finals. He got Yao to play like a beast. He actually had t-mac contained and playing hard.

All of JVG's players have respected him immensely except for Francis who got shipped out for T-mac.

But you look at the egos he has managed and players he has had under him...remember Battier was a Gundy guy.

Mike is better with D but he is awful with discipline.

Who is going to be better for Harden? I think Gundy hands down, man down.

I'll wait till something is final before I have any feelings on this, but D'antoni is far from inspiring. Was hoping for JVG, but what can you do.

We can all sign a petition or whatever and address it to less? He has to care what the fans think a bit?

Maybe someone can create a change.org petition?

Read it the only thing I disagree with is that we had a good offense.

We had an offense that scored yes, but it by no means ever looked like fun. The one thing that D'Antoni should and would accomplish more is a ball that pings around the court.

As always, the issue is we have barely any shooters and just one creator...Morey will have to do some roster flipping for this to work.

Does that mean we're keeping T_ones? T_ones in an open Pringles offense, I like our chances next year.

It is, quite obviously, not a "good" hire. Is it as bad as people are making it out to be? I'd say no. But it's completely uninspiring.

    I can make one.

What is that email address that the Rockets have for ideas? I could not find it in a thirty second search.
