They are not going to hire Dantoni without a STRONG "defensive coordinator" as an assistant. I also believe that we need a PG to run Dantoni's offense, cause it won't be Harden. Harden can be the recipient of opportunities created by the PG, but I don't believe he can bring the ball up the court and run it. The good news is, Dantoni's offense is predicated on ball movement and players moving without the ball (Warriors offense). The other thing that nobody has mentioned is that the Team that is 3 wins away from the Finals (Thunder) had a very average defense this year and with two dynamic scorers and a deep team (with a rookie college coach) have managed to knock out the Spurs and at minimum will take the Warriors to seven or possibly knock them out. It is NOT all about being the best defensive team in the league, but having a GREAT offense and a middle of the road defense. That is if you have the players that can hit open shots and rebound. Dantoni is the CREATOR of the modern day NBA spread offense. Let's see what he can do with a defensive minded assistant coach and a couple tweaks to the roster.
Morey is Les' fall guy...Always have to have a "fall guy..." So sick, that JVG wanted to be back, people in the organization wanted him back...But Les...!@#$@# troll.
Interesting post. Expect to miss the playoffs next year and go farther and farther into the lottery with every progressive year. I expect us to be 76ers status by 2020
What is most worrisome is that D'Antoni won't improve the team but also won't make us bad enough to get us into the lottery with significant draft picks. We could be stuck on the mediocrity treadmill for a few years.
So James just wants some coach that get down and slobber his stink microphone and let him be a lazy putz on defense. Good days ahead.
The last three teams he left have been entrenched in the lottery since he left.. I'm sure getting there won't be a problem for us either

You don't post much, but this sounds on target to me. I hope we're both wrong, wrong about Alexander hiring Pringles and wrong about the Rocks being mediocre if he does.
