    Completely agree. Adelman didn't F*** around. He didn't stand for that lazy play, he'd bench all these scrubs so fast it'd make their heads spin. I like JVG a lot but Adelman was a great coach with discipline and great gameplanning skills. McHale had no strategy whatsover and JBB has no damn clue.

    This is called a strawman. We are talking about coaching ability, not talent evaluation. With the same team, plus Scola , Landry, Brooks, Adleman had a 17th ranked offense vs JVG's 15th with Juwan Howard.

    JVG was not a good GM, but that was CD's job.

    Rick adelman won in Portland, Sacramento and houston.

    They were great teams with ball movement.

    Adelman beat a Portland team that never made it to the playoffs before. Losing to them would have been a disaster. You play different teams in different years in the playoffs, they are not equally comparable. You are using arguments of an 8 year old.
