I agree. He got all he could out of his starter then went to the right guy to get out of the inning. That's on Hinch 100%
The inning beforehand he got hit 4 straight times . The other outs were hard contact . I didn't expect him to start walking guys , but I would have taken him out for the other reason . The utter lack of control shows he was completely fatigued .
Key hold by Giles there. Would be great if Giles could start living up to his expectations on a consistent basis and hopefully secure the closer role.
