While she'd be a terrific choice - I think the Dems will think twice about her vacating an important Senate seat. In fact, I'd be surprised if they sacrifice any congressional seats to fill the VP position - I think that's why Booker and Castro, to name a few, are more viable options.
Nadir? You're bringing up Nadir? The fool that cost Al Gore the 2000 election? I haven't paid the slightest attention to the idiot since then, except when people like you bring him up. I already had plenty of reasons not to vote for Trump. If Nadir is saying he would vote for Trump instead of Hillary Clinton if she gets the nomination, it simply confirms that he's an egomaniac looking for attention by saying the dumbest thing to come out of his mouth in 16 years. Keep at it, Sanders supporters. Some of you seem determined to hand the Republican Party the presidency so that a reality show buffoon can be President of the United States.
https://mobile.twitter.com/mmurraypolitics/status/732588761423486976 Really wish the press had taken Sanders seriously and given him a tenth of the scrutiny applied to Clinton or Obama. They've been playing pat-a-cake with him and he still winces.
eh.. he walked off the podium for a question he didn't want to address or maybe it was a banned question/topic and the reporter broke the rules. clinton has tons of those, they all do actually. maybe he should have done this instead.
Yeah, right. With people like you carrying Donald Trump's water, he's going to have a field day during the general election.
I'm a curious if you mean weak "deeply held beliefs" or weak "large formal assemblies of people." This is truly the question of our lifetime!
I have always found rockbox's large formal assemblies to be among the weakest I've ever seen. They feel like a funeral or something.
[Premium Post] So while all of the libs have been discussing the NeverTrump movement and the schism with the Republican party, in the last 2 weeks, the Republican party has come together and thrown their support behind the accomplished business executive, job creator, and industrialist Donald J Trump. Meanwhile, the Democratic party is on the verge of a civil war. Did you see that Nevada convention? Law enforcement actually had to intervene it was getting so nasty. If I were a Bernie supporter, I would be incensed that Hillary is dragging the party into this destructive state, all the while risking everything as the FBI continues its criminal investigation for her violation of the Espionage Act. She is very clearly putting the best interest of Americans behind her naked quest for power. Donald J Trump, meanwhile, is sacrificing everything for the good of the country in running for President. Quite a contrast. I don't give Hillary any chance of winning, quite honestly.
Clearly Nader did not say he would vote for Trump. He said correctly that on some things he is better than Hillary.
So you are taking that erroneous comment on the above poster that Nader said he supports Trump when Nader said explicitly he would vote for Bernie or Stein, but would not say who? Maybe read the article? I am not a fan of Nader for his helping elect Dubya over Gore and Bernie has always said he will not run as a third party candidate. Hillary and her supporters are not blameless in discouraging Sanders supporters from supporting her. Sanders supporters are not responsible for Hillary's high negatives going into the campaign, or her uninspiring status quo campaign in a year understandably most voters want change.
Well ****. Do I have to research every freakin' post now before responding to it? Apparently. You're right, glynch. I've never had a problem with saying that you're right about something when you are, and yes, Nadir doesn't say he'll vote for Trump instead of Clinton. While Nadir said some negative and/or absurd things about Ms. Clinton, and a few positive things about Trump, Nadir did not say he was going to vote for the man and the negative things he said about him outweighs the few positives. Rather, he said he might vote for the Green Party candidate. Based on the interview, he doesn't expect Senator Sanders to win, but would vote for him were he on the ballot. He also hinted that he might not vote at all. Regardless, I can't stand the guy, and regardless, kudos for pointing out the poster's egregious error. Here I have to disagree with you. The Sanders campaign's attacks on Secretary Clinton have dovetailed remarkably with the 25 year long GOP campaign to discredit her, in my humble opinion. As for your last comment? Electing the first woman President in United States history isn't change? Really? I must have misunderstood the definition of the word.
There won't be a Civil War. Sanders is on dangerous ground. If he cost the Democrats the Presidency, he will have no influence going forward.
