The bodied the guys in the perimeter...perhaps you didnt see how many times the pushed Curry running off screens...And then giving him ZERO air space. They had a crap ton of TO in the first half and only had two.

Also they have two SUPERstars in WB and KD...both of whom played defense.

Cleveland has Lebron. That is enough. He's the best player left. But Love and Kyrie will need to show up. They can't lolly gag.

It would be so so great if the Thunder could knock out the Warriors.

They missed shots because they usually aren't tested in the 4th quarter like they were tonight. They went on about 6 runs between the 2nd and 3rd quarter that would normally bury other teams. But they ended up finding themselves only up by 3 going into the fourth and then durant ties the game.

At that point, it is a whole different ballgame.

In my mind, Kerr should have sat Thompson and Curry for at least 3 more minutes before bring them in. Those guys minds were completely spent and they needed rest.

Since Donovan went to the big lineup, they are 4-1 in the playoffs and whipping up on both San Antonio and GS on their own floor.

    OKC...just might win it all.

OKC wins game 1, and all the GSW haters come out of the woodwork.

Is it human nature to hate successful teams? I don't get it.

And Durant was 10-30. What's your point?

    I beg to differ.

For one OKC limited turnovers for the last 40 minutes or so. Turnovers obviously eliminate a possession for your team but again the Warriors it's worse cause they always make you pay.

For two, they rebounded. Again.... Keep those GSW fast breaks down.

For three relative to HOU and POR the Thunder defended better. Just a little tighter. A little crisper. Faster switching and not losing men. The Warriors offense did still get them a lot of nice shots. And they did miss rather than make. Because they were a bit out of rhythm. Because of OKCs defense.

    OKC won this game.

Steven Adams +19 by far the highest on the Thunder. Maybe the Harden trade wasn't as lopsided at people thought

I'd rather see competition...as opposed to demolition games in the postseason. I dont know about u, but the games the Warriors play often are blow out wins... No fun at all for the opposing team's fans. Glad to see them look vulnerable on their home court.

I have to say...I really didnt expect this win at all. This might very well be a competitive series.

When you have a team that can draft, its a bit different. They don't rest their plans on what player X will do 5 years from now by preparing for FA.

    Lazy ass front office.

That hope and Toronto's nice run are the only things that motivate me to follow the playoffs after the Rockets were eliminated.

And it looks like OKC is peaking at the right time.

Yes okc won this game. Well deserved. But in the end there gsw was sloppy and there to's ultimately didn't allow them to keep their run to win the game. That wasn't a typical close in the last few minutes for gs. Regardless, lead by Westbrook in the 2nd half grabbed the momentum back for okc and impacted it on both ends for them to come back and get the W
