    there aren't numbers for this and that's my point. there isn't a real trend when it comes to gambling. if there was it would be easy. its more of a general idea some ppl want to believe themselves as far betting opposite of "public"

    There's a difference between blind betting against the public every time and picking and choosing when to do it, like when it gets really lopsided.

    it can definitely be very much true in situational spots but just pointing out the belief of opposite side of public covers more often than not in general isn't very true.

    I mean I could play the over in every single regular season game with GSW which is the general trend of the public to play over for them and I would be on the + side at the end of the season.
