I admit to not paying a lot of attention to the Pelicans, unless we were playing them. What was up with Asik this season? Was he injured? Looking at the stats, he really had a down year. One thing I'll say about the guy is that he hits over 50% of his free throws. It's still pathetic, but looks decent next to Dwight's and Capela's numbers at the line. Asik shot 62% his last season with us. Guess it was a fluke.

Yeah people froget how good Asik was in 12-13. He's fallen off a cliff since then mainly due to injuries, but I think he was a better fit for this team than Howard because he knew his role.

Stop this howard not knowing his role bull****. He knows his role look at the blazers series in 2014 and the playoffs in 2015 he knew his role. It just JB couldnt use his players properly. U need a star players and great coaches to win in this league

if JVG is the coach- he needs a center like Noah..

Good Defense, always playing hard, good rebounder, and plays to his game.
He can occasionally hit the jumper.

    Perfect fit with James Harden

Agreed, and I would also bet that he wouldn't demand max dollars.

I like Noah too but way too many injuries this past seasons...i mean, he's been more injured than Dwight and i don't think he's a better player than Dwight at this point...

yea thats the only concern injuries- but hey if you can get him in a good contract - and he has had some time off to rest and rehab his body
    it could work..

I think he plays harder than Dwight- and actually a 70 % FT shooter (Which is better than any center we have in our roster

a healthy Noah does seem like a nice fit, especially to help a new defensive minded coach set the tone

Absolutely, but he's 31, coming off a microfractured knee...eh...too risky imo. If you can sign him for...let's say a MLE ok, super good, but that's not going to happen, someone will offer him a double digit contract, maybe Thibs, and personally i don't want to start a bid war for him at this point, just too risky...

    Take two on Codman's post

Jeff Van Gundy, Frank Vogel, Mike D'Antoni

    Jeff Hornacek

    Kenny Smith

    Stephen Silas

    Kenny Smith

    *********************************

Eliminate Smith & Silas, you're left with Van Gundy(top choice?), Vogel, D'Antoni & Hornacek.
