what's the big deal, Oceans Eleven is a fun little franchise where the characters being all male had nothing to do with the story.

I can see that. It's just that these guys were charismatic and cool as ***. This all female cast of the same movie is just another Bridesmaid. Which is a cool comedy in itself. I'll wait for the trailer.

I was surprised they never introduced girl Turtle characters, especially considering how much '80s and '90s cartoon casts were changed to maximize toy releases.

 

So what's the beef with this exactly? That they're pandering to feminists or that they're potentially bastardizing a classic flick? Cast 11 white dudes in a movie and no one sees this as "Good Ole Boy Garbage".

 

As long as there's an inflatable pool full of baby oil, I'm in.

1. Missed opportunity to make something original that actually calls for and fits with an all female cast

2. The current tactic for marketing these turds is to pull all honest criticism and highlight sexist trolling for extra marketing. Sony did this on the Ghostbusters trailer.

 

This could work but will probably be forced like the Ghostbusters female version. I don't expect either to do that well tho
