Jesus Jake, just hit a little. A single or walk every now and then.

The next poster on this board hyping up Marisnick in any fashion should legit be banned from posting and driving because they are certified insane.

Is that a douche move by the Red Sox Catcher ? Or an acceptable smart play ? Clearly slapping his glove down and in and then wanting a high outside pitch . Trickery for sure . Is that cool with baseball's unwritten code ? Or a bit dirty

Base running again killed another inning. Giving away an out kept Altuve from coming to the plate in that inning possibly with people on base. Totally unacceptable.

Sure I am. Not enough value in having a runner on 3rd with 2 outs vs. on 2nd with 2 outs to concede an out.

Of course we wouldn't be in this situation if our starters would do their job. Bullpen is going to be shot in August.

I shouldn't even have to explain to you how stupid this statement is but I will. First off, the chances Gonzalez, one of the slowest runners on the team, manages to escape that run down via an error or shear luck is about 1 in 100. Secondly, the chances are WAY higher that a wild pitch, an infield hit, or a sharp line drive to the LF occurring which would score Gomez from third and not from second.

We get it...Gomez is terrible but he made the correct baseball play and if anyone thinks other they clearly don't understand or have ever played baseball.

    /end rant

    Will Harris....nice

He's rebounded extremely well from that catastrophe in the playoffs.

Meh, Jake just doing his best Gomez impersonation.

2 for 29 with no extra-base hits, one RBI, four walks, 14 strikeouts
2 for 29, one RBI, one walk, 13 strikeouts

Top: Gomez's last 8 games coming into today
Bottom: Marisnick to date, including today

Gotta get the guy you traded 4 guys for going.
