    Not having Gomez playing right now is definitely addition by subtraction. He just brings the team down. I hope the organization realizes this and just cut him loose.

    Gomez is awful but Marisnick is just as bad. At least Gomez can hit in the triple digits...Marisnick wouldn't even be passing college with his average right now.

    Marisnick is a lot worse. I don't get why people keep bashing Gomez and wanting Jake to play more. There is not a replacement for Gomez on the roster currently, as bad as he's been.

    I agree Jake isn't the answer and I'm not implying that by that remark. Eventually they need to either bring up Kemp or someone to fill in but the team is still playing better currently when Gomez isn't out there. He just brings the team down with his whole clown show act.
