I would be willing to bet that if you took away Gomez's bunt singles this year, he would be very close to a .100 average.
once again, has anybody ever seen a game that was played in 9 innings of rain without being suspended? i honestly didn't know that was possible/allowed. i've definitely never seen anything close to it, and i've watched a sizable amount of baseball in my day.
There were some games in old Candlestick... and Cleveland when they used to play in the old municipal... that just seemed like it was persistently wet and drizzling the entire time. It really ins't raining all that hard or much... even in the 2nd inning where it looked terrible.
