Durant will eat them alive. They've never been able to guard him. Only one with a chance is probably Iggy.

Westbrook will likewise murder either Curry or Thompson.

On the other end, GS will make their customary avalanche of 3's. Hope OKC wins again.

Thunder always have two players that can be the best two on the court every night. The question has always been will they play like the best two players every night. Doing that requires not just getting their own, but also not making mental mistakes in the 4th quarter as well as creating situations for the other stars and player to feed off their (the stars') play.

Excluding Game 1 and the final 5 minutes of Game 3, they did that.

Whatever the results, I respect the Spurs for their way of doing business. They did what they had to in order to put out the best product possible in the postseason. Granted it still wasn't good enough, but no shame in that IMO.

But this summer, they'll probably have to ask themselves some tough questions regarding their original Big Three.

Them brehs should go find a team that would take a retirement home superteam:

    Tony Parker
    Dwyane Wade
    Manu Ginobili
    LerBon Jame
    Tim Duncan

With a decent 6th man, they could make the conference finals.

props to the OKC thunder. Never thought adams would cause so much havoc. Looks like that trade wasn't so bad for them with everything he provides defensively. and now he scores points.

pour one out for duncan. it couldn't last forever even thought it felt they'd never die. father time.

Yes sir! I just had a feeling that the bigs for the Thunder would do the job on the Spurs.

Heh, I've said for the last 3 years that the Spurs were jinxed by having T-Mac on the bench in that series.

One thing I noticed about this series was how San Antonio only won 2 games, and both followed long layoffs. Game 1 after they swept the Grizzlies and Game 3 where there were 3 days off after Game 2 for some odd reason. When they had to play with only one day between games, they looked old and tired out there.

And that got me thinking back to the regular season. Remember how Adam Silver got rid of 4 games in 5 nights due to complaints from players and coaches? I don't think it's a coincidence that the first season this new policy is in place, the Spurs go from winning in the high 50's/low 60's to reaching 67 wins. Pop used to have to rest his older players in some B2Bs which cost them games. Not so much this year.

Last 4 games against OKC for LMA. Three cheers for the midrange game.

I wanted the Spurs to advance, but GSW vs OKC could be a good series. Congrats to the Thunder.

Tough out for the Spurs. If a few questionable calls went the other way, they could still have had game 7 at home to look forward to.

I'd hanker a guess that the chances Durant leaves OKC now are practically nil. Chances of him coming to the Rockets...less than zero.

I didn't watch the series but I'm really surprised SA lost after the way their season went. So much for LA putting them over the hump.

I was hoping for a SA-GS series...but now it looks like OKC-GS is going to be even better.

I think the original prediction that made the most sense is still in play.

With Westbrook & Ibaka having 1 year left on his deal, I think Durant will just sign a 1 year deal with OKC.
