No one's diminishing bird's Celtic for never repeating. All u hear is adulation and legendary etc. Duncan's Spurs won even more than bird Celtics. So I expect the same regard be held in the long run.

Arrived enough to meekly look around for a bail out call when he got straight out hustled for the ball while his team getting blown out. Take that whoopin' like a man and just take the ball out.

Are you sure? They said it was either Sunday or Monday. I assumed Sunday was if the series ended tonight.

Bird's Celtics are another so-called dynasty I felt was overrated. They won 3 titles in 6 seasons and 2 of them were against overachieving Rockets teams. The other one was against the Lakers in 1984 and only happened because James Worthy made an unbelievably boneheaded play at the end of Game 2 that cost the Lakers a 2-0 lead heading back to the Forum. Otherwise they were routinely getting their asses handed to them by the Lakers in the Finals, that is when they weren't being beaten by the Sixers or Pistons earlier in the playoffs.

Because those celtics went against the lakers, who were the spurs foil during their run? Maybe unfair, but going against other great teams elevates your titles legacy.

Spurs need to hire a necromancer to come rejuvenate these corpses.

Are my eyes deceiving me or is Andre Miller in the game right now?

Thunder's defensive positioning this game is among the best this season

And you thought Clutchfans were bad? Spurstalk.com

They got a great young player in Kawhi and they talking crap about him like he's Harden who plays zero defense???

Which scrub will dominate Kawhi in the WCF next year?

    My best guesses are:

    Sean Livingston
    Allen Crab
    Rodney Hoodrat
    Harrison Barnes
Jeff Greenie (eh that's a long shot)
    Wes 's Johnson

Who y'all got? No repeats allowed (Barnes, Roberson)

Adams gets hurt right before playing the Warriors. Sounds about right.

Durant will probably tear his ACL and knock over Westbrook who will break his arm.

All of a sudden it is a 13 point game. Still a long shot for the Spurs though.

Not the best time to have an offense drought

The Spurs did have to contend with the Shaq-Kobe Lakers back when Robinson was still playing. And then again they had to deal with the Kobe-Gasol Lakers after their 3 titles in 5 years. Even Nash's Suns were a big rival last decade.
