Morey/Leslie was never moving fast on Vogel.

Teams are still playing, coaches still to be fired/not extended...

Have they even secured an interview with Vogel? By most accounts, they have not. They've only contacted his reps.

 

With Skiles out, does it seem more likely Vogel would be a better fit for Orlando than us? That's what it seems like to me.

 

At this point i'm interested in see how the Bud situation evolves, he is my choice if available.

There's also Stotts...but i just cannot see how they can let him go.

 

Stotts would be a great option if available (doubt it) since he seemed to always coach teams up. Vogel is my first choice at this point, then JVG.

I think you should relax on this. You seem to think that when cyberx says that Morey is trying to move fast to get a coach or is interested in a player and nothing happens, that means it's a miss. Never mind that interest doesn't guarantee that the candidate will reciprocate or is tradeable. If Morey himself made the same prediction a lot of the posters here would call it a miss. Intent does not equal results. Also never mind that the founder of this site has vouched for cyberx. He has provided specific, not general, information before hand on many occasions. One of the more particular instances was when news reported that Howard was in Houston looking for a house. Cyberx staked his rep that Howard was in CA that very day, and several hours later the various NBA websites confirmed this. He's an insider. He may even have an agenda. He talks of possibilities and interests. If you don't equate those with guarantees, then you don't have to get so upset that he's wrong. But he gives us insights that we otherwise don't know and they're valuable to the rest of us even if they're not to you. So it's ok to question whether an insight will lead anywhere va denigrating him as a "so-called insider". Even the other insiders acknowledge him.

He'll never relax on anything that's why FTW is on my ignore list. Too bad ignore doesn't work for when posters quote his troll hot mess garbage he runs out 90% of the time.


Cyberx is A+ read for most of the community, not that everything is clear cut truth.

We definitely don't. Cyber has changed his posting style ever since the paging Cyber thread was closed. He opens new threads with a bit of information, whether positive or negative, and then rarely or never gives updates. Cyber is definitely legit but sadly he's clearly reducing his role as a regular on these forums. I'm glad he still pops in occasionally but I do wish there were a more constant stream of information whether or not it comes to fruition. I miss the Paging thread and this offseason will be less interesting due to it being gone.

 

same here- atleast CyberX or some insiders here give us slight information they hear and it makes the board more entertaining.. (It doesn't really bother me that some of the rumors do not come about anything) but At least we have some info to discuss and get anxious about

Nor has JVG (Never seen a confirmation on the Timberwolves job)
