I'd never seen this before and it got me pretty hyped to come across it now - rookie Sam on Letterman after the Rockets' first championship! <iframe width="640" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/OtIL4FWcf20" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Just awkward. The city of the opposing team and is a guest of a Knick's fan. What's the point? The mid 90s had some dumb people with hostility lines not clearly drawn. Cassell could have got hurt just walking down Time Square.
Anyone that says Chemistry is not important has never been on a championship team, never led anyone anywhere, and will never win anything until they figure out how important chemistry is... Chemistry and style of fit, are CRUCIAL to winning. DD
4:43 Sam I AM on the championship trophy "The next one we win I know one thing, they might keep it out my hands.." And Win they did, and Win they did. :,)
The music the band plays when Sam makes his entrance is "The Tighten Up" by H-Town's own Archie Bell and the Drells.
I thought the Rockets were much better than the Knicks, so I give NY credit for making it a tough series, but Olajuwon too much MVP. Cassell the man.
Nah, I watched it when it broadcast back in 1994. I don't even need to watch the clip. I remember almost all of that interview. The parade where Letterman does the Nancy Kerrigan voiceover. The story about breaking the Larry O'Brien trophy(I thought Richard Petruska did that though). The smattering of boos when Cassell came out.
That Knicks team was absolutely scary. Anthony Mason and Charles Oakley? And who can't forget cheap shot Starks..
