Hillary was wrong and irresponsible and quite possibly criminal.

However it is interesting that the State Department servers she should have been using, were indeed hacked and compromised. Her private servers were never hacked or compromised to anyone's knowledge.

That's not because of anything good that Hillary did, nor is it a way to excuse her poor decision making.

But it's interesting that the information ended up being safer because it was on her servers than on the state department servers.

We're more likely to know about hacks on government servers because of all the security on it. Clinton's personal server may have had some protection, but 14 governments could have been in and out of there and we'd probably be none the wiser.

I think they both would make awful Presidents. I just think Hillary is proving she's untrustworthy at this point. I think this is a willful act that disqualifies her from holding any job that requires a security clearance.

Hillary didn't want to be inconvenienced by using a laptop or normal computer in her office, she asked the NSA for a secure smartphone. Her request was denied. So she set up an unsecure server to use her own unsecure Blackberry via her ramrodding the government in to putting Pagliano on the payroll.

Hillary's convenience meant more to her than her job.

This should be Hillary's campaign slogan.

... and Sanders is a socialist. And Obama was the most liberal Senator (and unqualified, and associated with terrorists, and ...).

So you will vote for the Republican candidate, which in this case is Trump. Regardless of his qualifications. Regardless of his background, or ethics, or ...

    And so it goes...

That's possible. It's also possible that her servers had amazing security on it and that even though the Chinese tried to get into it, they were unable to do so.

All of that is possible, but just dealing with what we know, it's ironic that we know for a fact the Chinese hacked into our state department servers and the information on there was compromised.

But, I do believe Hillary should have been using the state department servers anyway.

That's really what it comes down to. Hillary would be a laughable candidate for president pretty much any election cycle......but Trump. I mean sure justice should be done and Hillary should be barred from ever holding public office due to her crimes while Secretary of State.....but Trump.

It's very likely for the greater good of the country that she get away with it. She'll be a terrible president, but not as bad as Trump would be.

How would you feel if a terrorist had access to Ambassador Chris Stevens' itinerary by virtue of hacking Hillary Clinton's private email server? And how would you feel if those terrorists used the information from those emails to plot their attack on the US Embassy in Libya which resulted in the death of Ambassador Stevens, and others? Would Hillary's selfish use of a private server to further her own future political career by hiding information from FOIA requests be a valid reason to have risked the life of Ambassador Stevens, as well as literally thousands of other Americans serving abroad?

    We may soon know.

So you don't believe that she should be dealt with and that Sanders or possibly even Biden should get a shot at the running against Trump?

Location of US embassy is public knowledge. Risks of that US embassy - well, Congress didn't think so much so.

It wasn't so much congress that didn't think so, it was the Secretary of State who ignored hundreds of requests for increased security so let's not try and blame that on Congress. Let's just try and keep the conversation grounded in reality. Hillary was a terrible Secretary of State, that's just the facts. It doesn't mean that you or I can't still vote for her for President because the Republicans were foolish enough to allow Donald Trump to be their candidate, but it's the truth.

I see that Sid went to the Slick Willie school of evasive response.
