should easily be up 3-0 in this series except for the 2 decisions, putting giles in a high pressure situation and not walking cano. the contrarians can argue this but you don't need analytics to figure out cano is kind of hot against you let cruz beat you.

An outside pitch to a left handed hitter, with power and the Crawford Boxes, ouch.

    Mistakes will kill you.

Sipp is pitching bad this year (and i really wanted him back) so why not use your BEST pitcher, good vs lefties in Harris??? Dumb move.

My friend, if your read my post you will always see that i want harris. I get pissed when they use him when we are losing, or 2 innings in a game that we can't win or we are losing.

RIGHT NOW, our best pitcher is Harris.

So, for the future, if we are winning by 3 or less in the 7th or 8th, i want Harris. Why 7th? Because we may have the top hitters in the 7th so i prefer him pitching to their best.
I don't want Harris pitching when we are losing unless is because we are losing so much that he has not pitched for awhile.

Like i said from ST, we need ANOTHER lefty in the bullpen. Sipp is good (pitching bad so far) but he is not really a loogie. He is a reliever that gets lefties and righties but he is not the lefty that is going to dominate other lefties just because he is a southpaw.

More of a healthy hatred for Gomez.

Should move springer or Colby to CF. Play Marwin or Tucker more in LF (esp for home games)

Wouldn't be opposed to Gomez taking this whole week off. Let's see what Marisnick can do.

Unfortunately, I know that won't happen.

I also wouldn't hate it if I never saw Tucker again.

Who did you want Hinch to use Friday in that spot?

I know that Harris has been great, but he was also in a 3 games in 4 nights situation Friday, his fourth such time to do so this year already.

I think there are some terrible pitching "decisions" being made this year by the organization, but those decisions are the ones being made by Luhnow, not Hinch.

Our Pen has the 23rd worst ERA in baseball, Hinch has been given two pitchers in the pen who are reliable. 4 of the guys in the pen have ERA's over 5, and Neshek is over 4.

Meanwhile, a guy like Hoyt is lights out at AAA and Musgrove completely dominant at AA. Yet once again, Hinch will go into today's game with 2 reliable relievers.

We know what he can do. Neither one of them should be an everyday player.

Tucker hasn't been good this year with the bat, and for him to play LF (even at MMP) he really needs to hit to make up for the lack of defense.

Marwin should always play vs LHP but anything more than sporadic appearances vs RHP is asking for too much. I love the versatility Marwin brings, but he should be a platoon guy who starts vs certain RHP to give someone a day off, a pinch hitter, and not a whole lot more.

I'm about ready to get that first look at Tony Kemp. He could certainly play LF at MMP. He bats left so would make a perfect LF platoon partner for Marwin with Rasmus or Springer moving over to play CF everyday. I won't pretend to know a lot about Kemp other than what i've read, never actually seen him play, but he is known as a good contact guy who will draw walks and handle the bat well. I know Altuve has been awesome in the leadoff spot, but bottom line is we are 18th in runs scored.

    Springer
    Kemp/Marwin
    Altuve
    Correa
    Rasmus

A.J. Hinch on why Carlos Gomez isn’t starting today:

McCullers will play catch today and throw a ‘pen tomorrow. If arm responds well, it’s “very possible” he could start in Boston, Hinch said.

Max Stassi’s rehab assignment is over. He was reinstated from the DL and optioned to Class AAA Fresno, where he already was. Stassi is 2 for 11 with an RBI and 5 strikeouts to 0 walks in three games since joining Fresno.

    1) it's highly doubtful a manager can't communicate with his coaches no matter if he's in the dugout or not.

    2) orders could've been given before his ejection or before he officially left the dugout

    3) Hillman might be a dumbass too
