Have the Rockets burned too many bridges to attract good coaches?

Morey has a bad rep around the league. He runs his motor-mouth nonstop, calling out teams on Twatter.

The firing of Adelman was negatively perceived around the league, especially by the coaches. They now dislike Morey and the Rockets even more because Morey fired McHale, an act that was condemned by the NBA Coaches Association.

The question I put to you is this: Have Morey and Les burned too many bridges to attract the best coaching talent?

Haven't the Rockets had fewer coaching changes than any team besides the j*zz in the past 30 years?

The same reason even Chris Bosh talked to the Rockets. It's a formality. Just because you talk doesn't mean you are really interested. Did I really have to explain this to you?

I mean seriously, why are there so many delusional Rockets fans around here?

Right now, our reputation is a toxic, steaming pile of ****. Everybody is making fun of Houston, I mean everybody. Houston is NOT a hot destination, despite some fans' delusional thinking.

The Rockets right now are like a fat chick with a beard and unibrow who hasn't showered in months who thinks quite highly of her chances of going to the prom.

I hate to be harsh, but a lot of people here need to be doused with cold water now so they won't be disappointed later.

How long has Morey been in charge? And how many coaches has Morey gone through since then?

Coaches don't look at the whole ****ing history; they look at if the current GM and owner are ****ing morons or not.

Morey has been in charge since 2007 and we have gone through 2 coaches? If you don't include Bickerstaff?

    Just two coaches...

Try four. JVG, Adelman, Milk Hair, and JBB.

Yes, JVG probably shouldn't count, but that's at least three coaches in less than nine years.

Not good at all. The firing of Adelman was not well received, and the firing of Milk Hair was widely condemned by fellow coaches.

Morey and maybe even Les are now toxic.

Morey has a bad rep according to whom? You?

Firing of Adelman was negatively perceived around the league? According to whom? "They" dislike Morey? Who's they? The NBA? Where was this Adelman talk when the Rockets were in the WCF last year?

The NBA is a business and people go where money talks. There are no "burned" bridges.

You mentioned Owner and Les has gone through fewer than anyone besides j*zz in his time.
    Morey has gone through 2.

In that time GSW have had 4 different coaches.
    Jazz: 3
    Cavs: 5
    OKC: 4
Lakers: go through like 2 a season

    by78 is right.

Rockets won't even be able to hire a coach from AAU ball. They'll have to pick some guy off the street and even then overpay.

Not even a guy off the street, I know if I were recruited for the head coaching vacancy I would immediately reject and pay them to stay away from me. I want nothing to do with this toxic culture.

They'll just have to play without a head coach.

You guys realize there are only 30 head coaching jobs to go around total right? Right now there are what, five open jobs? If you're all time dream is to be a head coach, are really not going to listen when the rockets come calling, or really any team with a coaching vacancy? Please. With such scarcity no candidate can afford to be that picky.
