98 pitches... fastball speed dwindling down to 83... 3rd time through the lineup... certainly was defensible in going to the pen there. Sipp would have been the call there, but paternity leave. Neshek was the most rested. Not much else... unless YOU KNOW WHO comes in!
Yep Not saying he didn't need to be done Just saying don't see a much better option Maybe Harris to get out of that inning and then Neshek in a clean start to the 8th
And LH batters? 5.07 era last 7 games you like that? If you think he's been good Then that's your opinion but he's not been good statistically. He had a 2.15 era last year thats what I want
He had already come out...just before the walk to load the bases. There was nothing wrong with the move. The only other option could've been Feldman but I think they were planning to bring him out for the 8th to pitch 2 innings had it still been 5-0.
