Ironman and his "team" also had 12ish hrs left to apprehend Bucky/CA before whats his face general dude would interfere. That's why there was sirens to evacuate the airport and was completely free of outside forces other than Ironman's team.

I'm so pissed there was an after credits scene. I only stayed for the mid credit thinking that was it.

    Marisa Tomei. My goodness. Beautiful.

Pretty cool that the Spidey suit is essentially Stark Tech. Hopefully we see the Iron Spider in Homecoming.

That's pretty amazing, considering how hyped AoU was.

When did Cap even learn this? I missed something along the way, apparently.

Well, Vision was aiming for Falcon's mechanics and Falcon barrel rolled out of the way; I don't think it was a lack of concentration or taking SW's side or anything - I think Vision just missed because of Falcon's roll; It's not like Vision could have retracted his shot as soon as he saw Falcon manuever.

    To the first spoiler:

I dunno, how / why would that ever come up? I can't really think of a situation where the mystery of Tony's parents' deaths would arise, organically. Plus, Cap and Bucky have a bond that Cap and Tony don't really have, even though Cap and Tony are essentially co-leaders of the Avengers.

    To the second:

The Accords was one of the weaker aspects the story - I think we were to assume that the Accords really only applied to the members of the Avengers, while suspending our belief that there aren't other heroes out there. Perhaps Spidey and other heroes aren't "primetime players" yet, so the gov't / Gen. Hurt didn't feel the need to include them.

I'm guessing it was part of the hacked files Black Widow took from Hydra in Winter Soldier

Nah. Zola explains this in the bunker during Winter Soldier.

You're 100% right, it only applies to the Avengers. I didn't think of that.

To expand on what Seclusion answered Cap first learned about Tony's parents in Winter Soldier.

To be exact it was when he was in the Shield Bunker with Black Widow and the digitized Arnim Zola. While stalling Cap and Widow Zola started telling them about all the people Hydra had been assassinating/killing who had been getting in their way while simultaneously showing them newspaper clippings on a computer screen.

One of those clippings was a headline of the Starks being killed in an "accident".

That said Cap didn't know it was Bucky who caused the accident and personally killed the Starks until this movie when he learned that aspect at the same time Tony did.

even with that in mind I do not think they were going to kill each other

Cap against Stark was one of the best battle, intense, aggressive, violent but at the end it was just a fight among brehs

He could have killed Bucky though but not with Cap in the same room

It was awesome, Marvel can do no wrong. I would put it slightly below GOTG and the first Avengers, right on par with Winter Soldier.

There were a ton of characters, yet they all felt useful. On top of that it still felt very much like Captain America's movie, not Avengers 2.5. As a franchise, they did enough with all of the players that I'm really looking forward to Black Panther, Ant-Man, and Spidey's solo films.

Seriously, Marvel has cracked the code and seems like they have built a sustainable moneymaking formula.

Glorious fighting while packing in emotion and action, what a movie.

    Re: one nerdy reference
Maybe it's because Spidey put the thought of Empire Strikes Back in my head, but this ending had an incredible Empire vibe to it

Good mixture of drama and action, but going back to the previous page about the meh fight scenes, I did feel like it was a bit too dizzying. Like you only get a very short glimpse of a punch before the camera switches to another angle and then to another and another and another... all that for just one punch and a body throw. I would like to see a clear fight scene for once where the camera just sits there with no cuts and lets people fight and earn their months of choreography training, like in old movies from the 60's. That said, I still achieved a boner in the airport fight scene.

I actually ended up not siding with anyone. Cap was a selfish breh who is willing to risk the world for his boyfriend, while Stark was a douche. In the end I did understand where all 3 parties were coming from: Cap, Stark, and Sakovian Hydra. I actually felt for Sakovian Hydra and could understand his pain.

There was one thing that bugged me from the beginning... how did Scarlet Witch get rid of her Russian accent so fast? Suddenly she had a perfect American accent, saved for a few fake "R's" that she forced with some words.

Also RDJ has a commanding presence. All the scenes with RDJ in it feels like it's an Iron Man 4 or an Avengers movie, even with Chris Evans in the same scenes. To me it felt more like an "Avengers: Civil War" movie.

Good move. I can probably sit through another 2-3 more sitting. Probably much better than Force Awakens for a 2nd-3rd watching.

Zemo isn't with Hydra. As for Witch, I actually felt her accent was better in this movie than the last. It felt really fake with the last one, this one seemed more natural to me.

While this wasn't as tight and exclusively Cap's story like Winter Soldier was I still feel like this was a Cap movie featuring others.

I do 100% concur on RDJ, this seemed like his best performance as Iron Man yet. He had a ton of range, he was perfect.

Agree on the additional viewings as well; going to see it with friends again in about an hour.

Olsen went to school in Russia, surprised her accent was so bad in Ultron.

I didn't know that, interesting. Speaking of not so great accents; I really hope Quicksilver somehow gets revived for Infinity War. I really loved that guy in Kick Ass.

I was also really worried about Boseman's accent for Black Panther, but he nice.

Good movie overall. Something confused me,
can Buckey not remember what he does while under control after the trigger words have been said? He clearly remembers killing Stark's parents but then when he was locked up being interrogated by the Russian guy, he didn't remember how bad the damage was after he escaped.
