Just can't continue to be giving up outs on the base paths... Especially not in the late innings of a tie game with your #2 and #3 hitters coming up. Pettis had time to see the relay throw. Castro could have been stopped midway between the line and still probably would have made it back. They had plenty of time to re-adjust that call, rather than just reflexively sending simply because the ball landed on the hill. Last year, it seemed like it was a total analytical call... Send everybody and see how many successful relay throws teams really can do. I think we've finally seen enough.
Seattle is looked good this season and we took a step back....feels like we are sliding deeper into the hole.
Smh. And this is why the Bobcats blew for a decade. Jordan was a great player, terrible at piecing together a roster. Same thing with Bird. Look at Paul George's supporting cast. Other than rookie Myles Turner and overrated Monta Ellis who Pacers fans want to dump his 3 remaining yrs at 10 mil a yr the team was... Lavoy Allen - 76ers back up Rodney Stuckey - Pistons backup CJ Miles - Cavs backup Jordan Hill - Lakers backup Ian Mahinimi - Mavs backup George Hill - Spurs backup Ty Lawson - Rockets backup Chase Budinger - Wolves backup Vogel was the only coach in the league that had been with his team for 5 seasons or more outside of Pop, Carlisle and Spoelstra. How have Hibbert and Stephenson fared without Vogel? They were two of the worst players in the league until Lance found a little juice in Memphis. Vogel actually took Hibbert and Stephenson as STARTERS to the eastern conference finals twice and almost beat the 3 headed monster in Miami. But you're right, Bird is great and Vogel is nothing... That's why ESPN's Lowe and Screamin A mocked the Pacers in videos and articles that both made the front page. Read the comment sections on espn and realgm, 95% of the comments are mocking the Pacers over firing Vogel and the crappy roster Bird gave him. And lets not forget Pritchard who was straight up garbage in Portland as a gm that kept his job while helping Bird destroy the Pacers. I've seen fans from Knicks to Rockets begging Phil Jackson to hire Vogel or they're done with the Knicks. P.s. Remember the time Larry Potato Head Bird traded Kawhi Leonard straight up for George Hill? Classic. Let's fall in line with Bird though. Oh, and feel free to check out all the players that had career seasons under Vogel this year. Mahinimi, Jordan Hill, Myles Turner(he was mediocre at Texas) etc. Best of all, check out Solomon Hill's career year after Bird for years signed free agents and traded for players to put in front of him. After trading Damjan Rudez who Bird preferred over Solo for Chase Budinger who Bird also preferred after Solo... Bird always said Stepehnson was better than Paul George even up until Lance Stephenson's final days in the playoffs standing next to the Bird in the crowd as he pouted away from his team rather than sit with them on the bench. Bird has also said Myles Turner is the best shooter on the team... that's not true, PG-13 is just like PG-13 is a better player than Lance. The fact That a rookie was the 2nd best player on the team behind PG is all you need to know about about how bad of a roster Bird built. Remember Solo? Bird didn't offer him a 3 million dollar qualifying offer but after Bird dumped Budinger for Lawson and Vogel decided Jordan Hill/Lavoy Allen are atrocious both suck at scoring and are terrible defenders, he was finally able to bring Solo out from behind Bird's clutter and well, Solo was successful but now he's leaving thanks to another great Bird move. Indiana Pacers 2015-16 Player Review: Solomon Hill became too good to re-sign http://www.indycornrows.com/2016/5/...player-review-solomon-hill-became-too-good-to ^ Larry Potato Legend. PG-13 will probably ask for a trade to his within the next year or two to hi favorite team, the Clippers. Anyways...... AJ Hinch sucks. Ken Giles sucks. Luke Greggerson since the Royals series makes me want to cry. And Larry Bird makes me want to die. #TayMom
Five teams where Tim Lincecum could end up http://espn.go.com/blog/sweetspot/post/_/id/70369/five-teams-where-tim-lincecum-could-end-up 3. Mariners 4. Angels Two division rivals listed but no Astros. Yay...
he has been completely awful for a while. I'd be happy if he ended up in the division. See my post in the Lincecum thread for details
If you think he's still the Cy Young winning Tim Lincecum, why would he be holding a tryout in mid-May while still being a free agent?
This isn't the team or the time for giving tired vets a shot. If he were willing to sign a AAA deal, and see how things go there, I would be for it though.
