I don't care who we sign ... I just want to ship Brewer, Beverley and Ariza's asses out, and not re-sign Terry, and for Dwight to opt out and go somewhere else. Jones needs to go. K.J. if he can't develop a 3 pt shot needs to go. Basically let's just start a new page with Harden and a new coach.
A Max contract doesn't mean anything. Even Chandler Parsons got a max contract LOL Rockets just need players with a brain and versatile skill
Charlotte is entering the salary cap bump year with a bunch of very good role players that help you win, but they will have to overpay to retain all/any of the them. Marvin Williams, Batum, Lee and Lin. Williams and Batum will be 15+ while Lee and Lin probably 6-8+. And none of them are 1st/2nd options ... at best 3rd. I think Charlotte's breakout season could unravel pretty quickly. And if they keep it together, it'll be just slightly better than mediocrity ahead.
Will be interesting to see what Boston does with Amir and Jonas. Nth guys non-guaranteed for next sd season until July 3. I would think they keep Amir on his deal. Don't know about Jerebko. If they turn loose of Jerebko he's a good stretch-4 fit here. I'd rather have him on a small contract than Marvin on a bloated deal. We simply cannot afford to blow up pour cap with long term deals for mid-level players that are aging.
The Hornets made the mistake of extending Lamb for 3 years $21 mil. He ended the season/playoffs w/DNPCD games. I don't think they can offer only $6-8+ mil for Lee or Lin without looking bad. Marvin shot 40%+ on 3Ps but only averaged 12pt/6reb per game and probably is an undersized 4. I don't think they will overpay to keep him. Batum probably gets max and they want to keep Lee but not overpay since they want Batum to play the 2. They might overpay Lin if they can't keep Lee just because he can play the 2 and has shown he can start if Walker gets hurt. It'll be interesting to see if any of these guys are willing to take one year deals @ a discount to stay together. A lot depends on how much they think Kaminsky will improve and if they want to try to keep Jefferson. I'm not sure if Walker can have another career shooting year so the Hornets could drop < .500 again if they lose key guys.
You could probably get this roster done. The 2 Max contract money would be KD + (Noah & Lee and then keep Dmo's RFA rights and then resign him). Players like Noah and Lee would be fantastic additions on this team. You could have a closing lineup of: Lee, Harden, Ariza, KD, Noah. If you can't get Horford to be that 2nd guy with KD, going this route would be a pretty good fall back option. Of course, any option that includes KD is a win.
Would love to get Lee on this team so we have the option of Harden playing the 3 or 2 with either Lee or Ariza. If McDaniels improves at all, we could also then afford to not DIE when Harden is off the court.
New Orleans Pelicans Non-Bird: Tim Frazier (restricted) 3/16/2016-4/13/2016: 29.3 mpg, 13.1 pts, 7.5 ast, 4.4 reb, 1.4 stl, 2.4 tov Spoiler <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/RkRxgcnO2xI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/SZj1FjNf8Po" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I like this kid. Excellent passer with a nice build. Doesn't hurt he looks a little like Westbrook!! He is a very much intriguing prospect.
You neglected to include that was only over 16 games and he's a career 40% FG% and 32% 3P%. Still, I like hearing about these under the radar guys.
Sorry if that wasn't clear; thought the date range I provided in the link implied a small sample for those stats. Anyhow, you're right that those stats were over 16 games at the end of the season: Season in Review 2015-16: Tim Frazier

calvin watkins strikes me as a troll. I'm always confused when 790 gives him rep as being a true journalist.
U need to have a score first pg with harden. Pass first is the worst to have with harden. So i can imagine a dude like brandon jennings coming in. As for center, i would give whiteside the max, try to get batum. And a stretch 4 like mirza teletovic I like what this looks like Plan A Whiteside/capela Teletovic/dmo/Beasley/montrez Batum/Ariza/dekker Harden/KJ BJennings/Beverley Plan B Horford/Capela Teletovic/dmo/beasley/montrez Bazemore or Allan Crabbe/Ariza/dekker Harden/Kj Beverley/Frazier Plan C Biyombo/Capela Derrick Williams/dmo/beasley/montrez Ariza/Allen Crabbe/Dekker Harden/KJ Conley/Beverley But i do think we can land a 2nd max player if Conley signs with us early in free agency Plan A would be a team that is a 2nd round squad that can maybe stretch to WCF
