Edwards seems to have assigned seating now depending on the theater. They did for this particular IMAX showing, I was thankful for that. It's nice that's becoming a more common thing, that's one of the big reasons I would go to Studio Movie Grill. Not that it stops morons from sitting in your seat or anything...
93% after 166 reviews; it looks like Iron Man's 94% is safe. With that said I feel like it's close enough that there can be an argument that this is the best Marvel movie yet considering the original Iron Man was an origin story for a singular character, meanwhile this features the largest roster in a Marvel movie to date. Really looking forward to seeing everyone's thoughts on the movie. I'll likely bow out of this thread after work until I see it at 1030 tonight.
Ok serious question. My four year old Twins are BIG into Spiderman, Iron Man and Captain America, and they have been talking about this since they saw the preview on TV. With that being said, am I a terrible parent if I take them to see this. I know that sounds like a silly question, but my wife is beating down on me right now about it being "too much" for them.
I haven't seen this particular movie yet, but I've been taking my son to Marvel movies since he could sit still for an entire movie(3 years old).
I wouldn't say so, I don't think there is anything questionable than your normal action scenes. With being said, I thought there were more questionable scenes after watching Zootopia, hell I still question having Kano ripping a zombie's heart out in Wreck It Ralph Spoiler <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/6IatYS3Kylk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
pretty good. was surprised at how they managed to keep the feel of a captain america flick and not another avengers.
Man I'm really starting to hate the 3D experience also, the last few times I went the screen is so dark, especially in Civil War. I could barely tell what was going on. I really wanted to see this movie on the big IMAX screen but don't force this 3D crap on us. I might have to watch this again on the regular screen to catch what I missed. I think I'm done with IMAX I guess since every new release there has to be in 3D now.
Really enjoyed it. Russo bros are killing it. THey did a better job managing so many characters than Whedon did. Spidey was great.
There is only one showing that I have found in Austin that has it at a non 3d imax. It's incredibly annoying that the real Imax downtown will not show it all with out 3d. I would assume they are losing money because of it.
Movie was awesome! Definitely competing with Winter Soldier for best MCU movie. Spoilery question about 1991 Spoiler Why were they transporting the super soldier serum? After watching, I haven't changed my stance. Was always Team Scarlet(t).
Also, Scarlet Witch was so OP in this movie. And Vision was underutilized, but probably because he's OP as well.
That's true, but it was fairly recent, meaning the last 15 years or so, that they went nuts expanding her powers. The original version wasn't like that.
I know that I'm probably a more overprotective parent than many, but there are quite a few scenes in the movie that I would consider to be way too graphic for a child that age.
Just saw it. I was almost moved to tears when Rhodey got shot down and as he lay in Tony's arm dying, the song in the background was "oh I, I just died in your arms tonight."
