Vs LHP, although a small sample size

Gattis is hitting .333 with a .887 OPS
Gomez is hitting .389 with a .921 OPS
Marwin is hitting .286 with a .971 OPS

Our lineup is built to be better against LHP, although we are only 1-4 against them so far

Considering going to the Sunday game......but McHugh and his 6.59 ERA......meh.

That or spend the money eating crawfish somewhere and watching it on tv instead.....lol.

ugh, I was right about his success @ Safeco.. unfortunately that means bad things for the other side.

    McHugh @ Safeco: 4 starts, 2.03 ERA
McHugh vs. SEA overall (incl above): 9 starts, 5.30 ERA

Tonight's lineup stinks but it's apparently the best Hinch feels he can put out there against lefties. Hard to feel confident going into this game tonight unless Devenski pitches a gem. Hoping for the best.

Mariners are ranked 2nd in ERA in the AL.... they own the league's 2nd best record.

White Sox own the best record and are 1st in ERA.

I thought we were going to Gattis tried out at catcher at some point? Did they abandon this idea? I find it weird they haven't put him in yet at all.

I thought they would try to put him in at catcher last night given the Astros had a 10 run lead.

Said they are still working on it as recently as yesterday

Don't forget he had hernia surgery this spring, so I would guess that's not the easiest surgery for someone to come back from as a catcher

Gomez going off on Brian Smith on Twitter. Love it. Brian Smith is the worst.

Because he came up so young, we tend to forget he is only 25 years old. That is about the age that you physically hit your prime.

Normally Altuve his 10-12 HR's a year but it seems as though he might reach 15 or more this season.
