Ask him about cheating on his wife with that hooker in New York, he'll get defensive right quick.

You know this...how? Do you have his cell number in your contacts? I don't recall him ever saying that publicly.

Plus he's cut from the same cloth as Morey in that he embraces analytics.

Vogel isnt a bad choice, but I still go with JVG currently.

The last thing the Rockets need to do right now is hire a coach that just got let go from the east. Jvg, like Kerr before going back to coaching, has had time to study the game objectively without bias as an analyst at espn for the last several years. Jvg went on a break from a highly stressful job, is now refreshed, mentally rejuvenated and ready to lead a young team to the promise land. The Basketballl knowledge he has accumulated over that last several years by just watching the best teams play year after year is alone worth the signing of JVG, get err done Morey!

still think JVG is better. heard from somewhere else that Vogel is a doormat and is afraid to challenge his players.

I'm sure Vogel is high on Morey's list but the more he interviews candidates who have no business getting the job, I almost wonder if JVG was chosen awhile back or if Vogel is their #1 and all this hue and cry is smoke. Not to mention interviews are a good chance to steal ideas from a variety of individuals.

I mean, hell, they gave me an interview. I patted DaDakota on the back as I left the office, Morey's voice behind me: "NEXT!" Wished him luck, he would need it, because Morey told me, "It was nice to meet you." That's it. I think I'm out.

DaDakota got a call back for a second interview, I hear, after he was brutally honest with Morey: "Do I have to spell it out for you? Okay, then. G-e-t. M-o-r-e. W-h-i-t-e. P-l-a-y-e-r-s."

Is this your "basketball reason" why Mark Jackson shouldn't coach here? Did that hooker help GS go from 23 to 51 wins in under 3 years? Nice to see you care that much:rolleyes:

What? You have reading comprehension issues. I didn't say anything about a "basketball reason" or anything of the sort.

Jackson didn't hold believe in practices, he gave his players too much liberty, and never held anyone accountable. Jackson also rubbed a lot of people the wrong way in that organization, he blackballed himself while working there. Jackson also had a number of distractions while working there, the last thing this team needs is distractions.

Also, this 28 game turnaround you keep speaking of? That 23 win season was under Jackson to start (and it was a lockout season). He guaranteed the Warriors would make the playoffs and swung and missed. The season previous to that one, the warriors had a record of 36-46. Jackson only improved on that by 15 games, not the 28 you preach about. Jackson created a mess then cleaned it up, yay he totally should be our coach. The players loved him, but management made the right call in letting him go.
