Kind of book spoilers but please remember that us book readers don't know where the show is heading...

But Jon could have warg'd into his wolf and simply came back into his body. The show never explores this like the books do though so it would feel cheap. The books kind of tease that Jon could just warg into his dog. I don't know if that explains him going back into a dead body though.

Also the show runners did say after this episode though that the wolf merely has a special connection to Jon so would know that he's back. Could have just been a moment where they wanted to further show Jon's connection with his Direwolf.

The pacing is just necessary, as well as, killing off leaders to pave the way for the final "act". It doesn't bother me, the Iron Born was predictable once they showed the bridge scene but Roose Bolton was a bit more surprising. I think Ramsey is probably the worst character (worse than Joffrey) and all of his successes are setting up for a spectacular failure.

I'm tired of the garbage quality of HBOGO. They broadcast in 720p still. Does it matter what provider you have? I don't think so, bc i've seen it on Directv and i have xfinity. GOT has lots of dark lit scenes that look like garbage because of the quality.

AND how the hell do HBONOW subscribers get 1080p from their app while HBOGO and cable viewers get 720p?

Why can't HBO make their HBOGO apps 1080p and upload it in the best quality possible? Do the cable companies get to choose what quality is uploaded and since HBONOW has no cable subscription, HBO gets to upload the best quality they can?

    Great episode.

I love it...people piss and moan after week one that the pacing is too slow and the show keeps dragging on (book readers seem to complain about it as well in the last few books...I wouldn't know as only read the first two), and now that we have a fast paced, action packed episode some are now complaining about how it is moving too quickly!

Love where all of the stories are going and glad that things are moving again...

    No Dorne, no complaints.

This Greyjoys story-line is gonna be hella interesting. Euron Greyjoy looks like quite the character.

Hey at least this person didn't lie to me about what episode it was in. As I mentioned before, they mentioned how guarded they are and how shes not going to give me straight up spoilers even though they do after a few drinks or does the thing where she tells the friend in our group that doesn't watch the show and they tell us all. That person that doesn't watch the show mentioned the phrase "Nights King" so yeah... unless they are trying to throw us off on purpose, there is more going on here than just Mel doing the Kiss of Life or whatever its called.

All I know is they said that there are things about the Jon Snow situation that "will piss people off". So take that as you will. They are very guarded about it for good reasons, tells me stuff to throw me off, and if I went and posted this stuff on the GOT reddit, believe it or not they look for insiders giving spoilers and she could get in a ton of trouble. I figure posting this stuff here is safer.

One tidbit that I found interesting is that believe it or not they are still in post production on the last few episodes and HBO came in and tried to cut their budget. They said something about leaving a wing off a dragon in the finale to see if anyone notices. So spoiler I guess is that there will be a dragon in the finale... which is really much of a spoiler.

Also I guess they are storyboarding for 6 episodes in 2017... that's right 6 episodes only. HBO is being super stingy I guess and trying to say that since the season is shorter than they only need 6/10 of the budget and there is tons of drama right now with the network and producers.

All of this. There's only 10 episodes a season and like 5+ story lines they have to work on. I'd rather that any screen time that is given be meaningful. The one thing that always annoyed me about GOT is that you could only expect 5-10 minutes on a POV and be done for that episode.

If the directors truly are going off on their own tangent now, then all of us as viewers should be excited. They're moving at this fast of a pace and there's still a couple more season left after this. Can't wait to see where it all leads.

Anyone else want to see Cersei unleash the Mountain on the High Sparrow and Faith Militant?

One of the few times I am cheering for Cersie!

I don't mind the pace, but I think there needs to be some more exposition on certain plots. I get Ramsay killing Roose and his brother. The dude is a straight up psychopath who eliminates any threat, no matter how minor, and just wins. Baller. The way it was done was lame.

Greyjoy, though, was just random. Who was the guy who murdered him and why? Have we seen him before? From what I gather, he's a brother who has a grudge. Still doesn't make much sense to me, neither does the manner of his assassination. That's eye roll worthy.

Previous seasons have done better at setting up events and being logical. My gripe is why Greyjoy was murdered and how he and Roose were murdered.

I look forward to the obliteration of the faith militant. Ready for FrankenMountain to put his skills to use.

I'd just like to see take the choke chain off of Mountain, and the way the faith militant surrounded Jamie kind of bothered me.

Agreed. I get why he did it but it seemed awfully...easy. Roose has been pretty sorry though since the Red Wedding. Ramsay let Seal Team 6 to take out Stannis's horses. Ramsay planned the defense of Winterfell. Ramsay led the army against Stannis. Roose hasn't done anything in a long time. Still, things just seem very rushed, easy and small time palace intrigue now. No more of the massive plotting of Littlefinger or Tywin or Ollena. Just sudden decisions to kill people with no consequences lol.

Balon called the guy his brother. That whole scene feels like it should have happened last season. Was a total throwaway. Did anyone even care about the Greyjoys anymore? The brother was clear though; he thinks Balon's time is up and is ready to rule.

I do agree with this. Previous seasons built to things better. Still, good episode.

Because the faith militant seem like a bunch of complete douchebags.

The High Sparrow I doesn't make me hate him though. The Faith Militant? Seem like a bunch of skinhead frat boys. Can't stand those little pricks.
