There was only 7 times last year that Fiedorowicz was targeted that he didn't make the catch.....and that was with garbage QB play. He's a reliable receiver when he's open, hopefully we'll get to see more of it this season with better QB play.
This reminds me of all the "We don't need Todd Gurley, we have Arian Foster" talk that people used to push back against the idea of drafting Gurley two years ago. Granted, it never became an option, but early on when it looked like a possibility it was a common refrain. Todd Gurley would sure have looked nice last year rather than watching Alfred Blue pick up 2 yards and a cloud of dust. Running back is by far the most injury prone position in the NFL. Especially when you have a guy who hasn't had full time starter carries to this point, I don't think you can count on anything. I will be more surprised if Miller is available for all 16 games than if he isn't.
Joel Heath's spider matrix and athletic comparables are crazy. I like his chances to make the 53. http://www.mockdraftable.com/player/7182/ Gerald McCoy 84.7% Leonard Williams 81.5% Derreck Robinson 80.1% Derek Wolfe 79.6% Rodrique Wright 79.1% Nick Fairley 78.4% Arik Armstead 78.3% Willie Henry 77.9% Mike Neal 77.8% Rocky Bernard 77.6%
If they all can contribute on special teams(except Miller of course) I could see all of them making it.

Good for him. He'll get $925/week until he's inevitably cut. And how hard can training camp be for a punter?

Which is why I think he's the UDFA with the best chance to not only make the team but to be the starter.
He's very accurate on close FG's and has the leg for the long distance FG's.......AND he's a touchback waiting to happen. Novak better be updating his resume.
Who cares about touchbacks now? That takes the ball to the 30. I want other teams to try to return now. Save us 7-8 yards.

Also, there's no penalties on touchbacks either. Give them the 30, it's better than giving up a TD or giving up more yardage plus penalties.
