The 12 of us who picked the Heat in 7 are looking pretty good right now.

dwade hadn't hit a 3 since december (december!!!!) and hit 2 in the final 3 minutes. crazy.

i tend to agree with hlcc. i think if positive clutch were a thing (i.e. not just perception where we remember when someone like wade does hit a couple of big 3's) and people could actually just up their game on command, they would just do it all the time. especially guys who aren't on max contracts for whom the benefit of always being clutch would be large. of course, i guess if they were always "clutch", then we wouldn't notice it because their crunch-time numbers would be the same as their normal numbers. maybe kemba walker would be an example of a guy who seems to thrive in the freedom of taking any shot he wants in crunch time. of course, he's also gone 4/18 and 5/19 in this series so maybe not.

on the other hand, it just seems almost undeniable that pressure can cause people to perform worse than normal.

You could say the say thing after every game of either Lowry or Dragic's too, just like they are all overrated... BUT only Lin is underpaid.

Nice coaching job by Spoelstra. Although everyone was getting into foul trouble, good for him to change the tactics up a little. So, Miami closing this one out guys now that Dragic is back to his old self? Or will somehow some way, Hornets pull this one out? I'm looking forward to Game 7.

Miami playing at home? They'll have most the calls go their way. Most likely a close game. I really want the Hornets to win...

My thoughts exactly. Favorable call big time! It should be a fun game and early as heck too, freaking noon game tomorrow? Damn, I'd still be in bed by then.

I'd agree with this. Miami's got the star power.

boy, Charlotte's gonna need some people to step up in this one, Lin for example. This will be a tough game for them.

Everyone except LOFs wants to see Lebron vs. Wade. That's got potential to be exciting TV. Nobody wants to watch the Hornets get swept in a boring series. Kemba is the only partially exciting player on that team and that is only when he catches fire

True, but when my team isn't playing I want to watch the best matcups and most exciting players. Hornets just don't check those boxes for me. Boring team to watch

a buzz kill for hornets fans. they had a chance and squandered it. With experience, wade, the crowd and deng, it's going to be nearly impossible for charlotte to steal this game.

Marvin Williams really needs to step up. Had 1 good game and sucked hard for the rest. Not sure what happened to him. He could be on LMA's level when he wants but now he's on TJones level

The Hornets look like the 09 Rockets. Can't get a rebound if their lives depended on it.
