OKC is barely trying on defense. Looks like a low intensity scrimmage for the Spurs.

The silly fouls on 3-pointers are prove the Thunder have no focus at all on D.

 

yeah i'm not sure i've ever seen someone block a kd jumper straight up on a simple close-out. in other situations maybe, but not just running out to the 3 point line. one of his layups it looked like he could just softly lay it in and it rocketed off the backboard.

 

You know there is a good way to spin that.

"Oh yeah, Kawhi shutting down Westbrook and Spurs rolling means Durant will probably see that window as closed." and hey, Spurs been a hump for OKC that was until that guy Harden helped them get past them of course...that guy Harden...

Yep, i mean, OKC really plays an ugly basketball, not even sure it's better than Rockets basketball lol...maybe it is, but not by that much, the biggest difference is that they have two superstars, which is a lot better than only one.

that play where san antonio just watched a defensive rebound bounce all the way to halfcourt and then 3 thunder players got to it and somehow tipped it right back to the spurs summed this up pretty well.

not that kawhi isn't great, but something tells me if kawhi switched places with those guys the results wouldn't be the same. having a world-class helping defense behind you so you can get up on lebron/durant and shut those guys down and a world-class motion offense to get you good looks instead of having to iso against the best guy on the other team helps a lot.

 

Spurs taking PEDs no way they are naturally playing this good lol

 

And both are better than what we currently have

 

san antonio is unbelievable at making the layups people do get against them be just contested enough that they miss them. even when it's easy, there's never anything perfectly easy.
