If this were the Yankees Hinch and Giles wouldve been gone 2 week ago. The Astros will troll us for atleast another month.

It's not Hinch's fault YET. But, I don't want to see Giles again until he has spent a month in the minors pulling his head out of his a$$.

    That was plain old embarrassing.

See with Giles I just feel bad for the guy. He had electric stuff with the Phillies but for some reason he just can't get it together after being traded for the 1st time.

Gomez on the other hand just makes my blood boil. The guy plays all around stupid baseball

Cut Kratz. Get Marisnick, Moran up now. And Reed after Super 2 or asap.Send Giles to Fresno for awhile.

I was rooting for Gomez to contribute to this team, but I can't anymore. He's a mistake waiting to happen and I don't trust him one bit. Bring Jake back and give him the job. As for Giles, I understand he was supposed to be our setup guy but the dude's confidence is shot. Can't fathom why Hinch brought him in tonight when he had a average outing last time in Seattle and this team needed a win.

Except in this sport half the league doesn't make the playoffs.

We are 7-16. If we won 10 games in a row we would be 17-16 and still behind the Rangers.

Yes it's time to panic. This hole is getting bad. 2005 Astros is a once in an organization type thing.

It frustratingly similar to the Rox. The Rox had a fluke run last year to the WCF and the Astros had what's looking like a fluke season last year. That's why it's so frustrating because expectations were very high for both of these teams, only for them to suck this year it appears.

i'd revamp as much as i can. moran is obvious. if gattis is capable of backup catching, i'd move him straight to primary catcher and see what happens. desperate times, desperate measures. bring up kemp, stick him in left. put gomez' ass on the bench/cut him/trade him, whatever is necessary. he sucks. they are still under the illusion that he's going to return to the player he was 3 years ago.

mccullers will be a boost obviously, as will reed once he comes up.

it's inevitable that fister isn't going to finish the season as a starter, but they are going to keep putting him out there and let him get blasted 4 or 5 more times. may as well bring up musgrove sooner rather than later. mchugh and fiers should both have to pitch for their job every time out there at this point.

The **** it ain't his fault. A blind person can see Giles has the confidence of a pimpled faced teenager on the mound.Yet he keeps throwing he bum ass out there.

    Giles=Brewer

We haven't won 2 games in a row the entire season.
Wonder if any other MLB Club can claim that?

...and one series win to boot.

Assuming this team continues on its current path, how long before Hinch gets the axe? Do folks think he'll get a pass?

I'd like to see Kemp at least. Musgrove too if Fister keeps looking so awful.

Damn I'm still pissed. Giles and Gomez do not need to touch the field again for awhile. We can't keep rewarding incompetence simply bc we traded a kings ransom for them. Swallow your collective pride and turn this damn thing around.

Goodness gracious. Can the Texans season start already??? Maybe we can start out 3-6 and call it a successful season since we have a new QB..

    seen enough of marisnick.

though it's interesting that they move on from him so easily, and don't treat the castros and tuckers and valbuenas, and gomezs of the world the same.
