Haha ya poor word choice. But Rick has never traded up less than 10 spots in over a decade as GM. Now we have 2 trades to move up 1 and 2 spots respectively in the first 2 rounds off the heels of super close misses.

With all that said, really like the picks so far.

Strong is way better than Miller will ever be.

 

Love the pick tho. That offense just got fasttttttt. Warriors type offense.

 

Yeah he's also 1 strike away from being waived. Strong needs to show me more.

considering Shorts gets hurt a lot, D hopkins is the old veteran of the WRs at 23. =)

 

Here's a downer thought : Maybe the Texans are preparing themselves for DeAndre Hopkins leaving in free agency.

 

Wouldn't mind seeing Miller run wildcat for us occasionally too.

RB: Miller (FA)
WR: Fuller (1st), Miller (3rd)
OL: Allen (FA), Bergstrom (FA), Martin (2nd)

 

Doubtful, Hopkins is a star, they'll either work a deal out or franchise him.

 

Players have close to zero leverage in the NFL... if the team wants to keep them, they find a way to keep them. (provided you're not jaded like Denver, and continue to bungle negotiations and potential franchise tags)

If the team doesn't want them... they become free agents.
