I love Trevor, but he had played one of the worst series I've ever seen. You can tell he has absolutely no confidence in his game right now.

 

Damn near allowed 90 points in three quarters. wow no pride.

 

Bad news...

 

james harden is significantly better than thompson on offense. significantly. thompson would stand absolutely no chance trying to carry the rockets offense 37 minutes a game for an entire season. certainly wouldn't do what harden did. he doesn't get golden state's talent and system to play off of.

harden's defense does suck but perimeter defense simply doesn't have the impact that interior defense does. for perimeter players, an advantage on offense is just so much more important than an advantage on defense. for interior players you would tend to favor D and rebounding over offense. thompson just isn't that lockdown on defense to make up the difference in offense, especially as it relates to harden being able to generate open shots for his teammates over and over in a way thompson hardly ever has to or can do.

 

On a positive note from this series the GS cheerleaders are hot

 

Someone on twitter posted last years choke by the Clippers gave this team false hope that they could compete with this flawed roster.

 

The whole season, this organization was all talk.

I'd also like to never ever see Ariza wear a Rockets uni again. He's had one beyond awful series and his play in the regular season wasn't much better.

Even though Jeremy Lin is gone, I still drop by here to see how the fans are. I actually liked your squad for a while but no JLin / Parsons and just Harden ball is not much fun.

Hope you guys get better soon. It's better to have good competition than not to be honest.
