Posted this in the deals thread on this, but that is a good deal if you want to watch some games. The Bullpen and Mezzanine seats generally go for $25-$35 so you are getting 10 tickets for less than the price of 2 the view deck seats are normally around 15 or so so even if you end up with those you still get a pretty good deal.
It's not easy; not if Price and/or Grienke, like Hamels, didn't share their interest. People seem to forget it takes two to tango when it comes to free agency, trades, etc.
I don't think Greinke was eager to play in Arizona, but the money moved him there. I think Price would had loved to play for the young Astros IF the money was on the table. I think FA would love to play for the astros now day. Why not????
You would be constantly ripping Price and Greinke if we signed them the way they have struggled, and you would be blaming Hinch for destroying their ability #marwinformvp
Luhnow should get the fair share of the blame for wasting assets on poor trades. Yes, he has helped find some nice pieces, but the team replaced Kazmir with an over the hill Fister, dumped Jed Lowrie and Chris Carter and did not address the DH, catching, or 3B issues.
Fister has been very decent compared to the pile of garbage that Kazmir delivered at the end of last year. That, and he's gotten rocked a bit this year with the Dodgers, too.
Kazmir and Lowrie would do nothing to help this team And if you were standing up saying keep Carter going into the offseason, more power to you And on Carter, he has always been awesome in spurts, heck he carried us to an extent last September, but I'm fairly sure a 2-30 with 16 Ks is coming at some point too
5-9 is p bad. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Astros lineup <a href="https://t.co/Td0N7mUS5n">pic.twitter.com/Td0N7mUS5n</a></p>— Brian McTaggart (@brianmctaggart) <a href="https://twitter.com/brianmctaggart/status/725458597090467840">April 27, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Yep Easy win with Marwin "Babe Ruth" gonzo in the lineup Quick question, if he goes 0-5 tonight and is hitting .240 for his last 13 days, will Hinch be an idiot?
I can't help but laugh at some of the back and forth  Let's hope they can get a win tonight. They owe me a goodnights rest. Stupid Pacific Time Zone.
All you can do with this forum is go back and forth and laugh No real baseball discussion happens anymore
Exactly the point I'm making, you called them hot garbage but these players became hot garbage under Hinch. Hell even Correa (the next A-Rod/superstar) has looked less than average. WTH gives? The team just looks lifeless without chemistry or heart. Will a switch just magically flip? Not likely but possible I guess. Stay tuned!
eesh subtweet city. like the leadership but hope it doesn't kill the clubhouse. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">"There is nothing after this. I wish Keuchel was off to a good start He is saying the right things But if you are a pro and your teammate is calling you out, and he is an Ace with a four and a half era....
