They might be better than us, but they won't be title contenders. Dwight just hasn't been the same player since he started having injuries. If he gets the max, that would be a terrible mistake.
The Rockets players have made this forum an ugly place. Players that fail to give effort while raking in millions of dollars deserve all the scorn they receive.
Of course he's gone. He'll be good in Dallas for at least a year. Dallas will be a good team(playoff team as they've been but not much more) Rick Carlisle will get the most out of whatever team they assemble. As for Houston,...
He's definitely still top 10. His presents under the goal defensively is still top notch. Don't let the stats fool you
This is great news for the Mavericks. Dwight is still a beast. Rockets are going to be back at being the Mavs b**** and be on the mediocre treadmill for a long long time. #Pursuit
Trust me, this place was full of emotional train wrecks last year after every single loss as well. Some people seriously think that if we had a different coach we were a championship team last year without 2 starters in the playoffs, lol.
There's an article somehwere (I believe, in the Dish) that Cuban has already promised Parsons a 4-year deal for 92 million dollar max contract. Its only 4 years because they dont have his bird rights and other teams can actually offer him 2 million dollars more over that 4 yrs as well as the ability to offer him a 5th year if they wanted to. As far as Dwight goes, if he wants to go to Dallas...let him. I love Dwight as a person and how big his heart is when it comes to the community. Ive seen him in person give to a handicapped child when the cameras werent rolling. He is everything you could possibly ask for in a spokesman for the less fortunate. The problem for Houston is that the game isnt played off the court. Cuban has always wanted to stick it to the Rockets so let him think that hes screwing us over by giving Dwight big money. He can be the trojan horse, so to speak. Cuban is desperate for star power so give him what he wants. A team with dirk, parsons, matthews, and dwight doesnt scare me unless I am working for the mavs training staff.
With Dirk almost retiring, I am not sure about that. Dwight might be Superman against us next year, but I do not feel we will be terrible next year. Harden does not want another 2015-16 season.
When we get rid of Howard it will be multiplication by subtraction. We are a better team without him.

Will help Mavs for 1 or 2 years max but still won't win a championship. He has major flaws in his game including FTs, Offensive Fouls, Goal Tending, #1 Option Mentality, etc... NBA is about skill and guards. The most successful big men have tons of skills. Dwight doesn't fit the profile. His type are perennial losers.
