If Curry's actually back in about 2 weeks, they still have a chance, pending how good his knee can actually perform. They can hang in against the Clippers without Curry, though it'll be a dog fight. Curry coming back midway through that series and having home court could give them sufficient edge.

But if he's re-evaluated and out even longer, into at least the conference finals, they're pretty much done. No chance against the Spurs without Curry.

They are not getting past the Clippers with a limpy Curry.

Doesn't matter. The Rockets aren't beating the Warriors again in this series.

Is the schedule for round 2 set already or can the league switch it up to give Curry more time to heal?

Rockets should be excited as hell, go into these next games with the killers mentality, no mercy on the court.

Rockets really squandered this opportunity. Obviously I'm not happy that Steph Curry is hurt, but this was the only way you were competing with Golden State. Laying eggs in Games 2 and 4 hurts.

If he were to return in 2 weeks, he'd miss about 3 games of the 2nd round. That could be bad news if their opponent is the Clippers. LA ain't gonna squander that opportunity the way the Rockets have. Not that the Warriors can't come back from say a 2-1 deficit(they did it twice last year in the playoffs), but what if Curry ain't 100% when he does return? And if he can't come back in 2 weeks, can the rest of that team defeat the Clippers?

Sad news..Get well Steph..We still believe.

The game 3 lost for to the Rockets was hugh..If Warriors had won, Curry would NOT have played in game 4. IMO, Warriors would still beat the Rockets without Curry playing a single game.

Warriors probably want the Rockets to win games 5 and 6 now.
Maybe the two teams will work together to make this happen.

It would tough against the Clippers and they may very well lose in the 2nd round, but I still believe Warriors can beat the Clippers without Curry, Warriors will have to defend home court. As for the Spurs or OKC, they would definitely need Curry back.

I'd narrowly favor the Warriors over the Clippers sans Curry, but that's mostly due to LA never advancing past the 2nd round.

Boo hoo Curry. If the Rockets lose to the Warriors I hope the Clippers pound them into the ground.

Yeah honestly the only reason I wouldn't pick the Clippers is because they have a tendency to choke...

But on paper, I think they would get past the Warriors now and I think Doc if he does anything well it is exploit mismatches. Not sure why the Rockets stopped attacking the paint when it worked so well but the Clippers have the personnel to do so.

So do the Warriors lose the next game to the Rockets just to give Curry more time to heal before they finish us off in a game 6?

Oh no. How will I live down the embarrassment of not taking a position on how long he'll be out in light of this?

I don't think you understand what words mean, which has hampered our communication in this thread.

Warriors without Curry will still beat the Blazers.

Clippers might be a bit tougher but that team has no closer.
