Wing Stop is literally the worst wing spot in Houston

I like their fries.

 

Was coming in just to post this. Their fries are the truth and the light.

 

Someone else can chime in on this that know specifically how much. But from what I know wing sauce is very expensive and is the major cost when it comes to this type of food.

 

Brewings easily the worst I've had.

 

I'd hope that I'm not the only one that discovered religion when I decided to dip one of those fries into the nacho cheese dip? Say what you want about their wings, the fries and cheese dip are legendary.

 

Yeah I forgot about Brewings. I only went there (at the Marqee location) once and will never go again. The place was empty, dark, dirty, and the wings were garbage. I ate about half of my order.

 

Their wings got more expensive in the last couple of years, but that's because they're bigger now. I actually like their wings and sauces, but I mainly get spicy bbq and mango habanero. The fries are legit.

I don't like BW3's sauces as much. I still prefer Plucker's over them all.

 

Too many posts to quote, but Im responding to alot of them-

1. Definitely watered down sauce and overpriced.
2. Fries are damn good
3. Disagree on the more meat statement. Ever been to Pluckers???
4. Brewingz takes the crown for the worst in every category

 

^HATE brewings, their sauce is weak, the times I've tried them overcooked and dry. I honestly preferred pizza huts, before they changed to the large wings this year anyway.

Anywhere can be bad, if they don't adhere to the timer, they have to be cooked the right amount of time, and have to be freshly fried. Now if a given place has the wrong formula for you, doesn't even mak sauce you like, or starts with the wrong type of wings, they'll have no hope.

I actually like wingstop, but they have also given me the worst wings I've ever had. So overcooked I could smell that condition on the way home. As said, bad employees, not the formula.

 

Brewingz (or however they spell it) is easily the worst. Nasty ****.

 

Wing Stop...you are either stopping there to eat wings or they are stopping you from eating wings.

Same. I go there to get the fries. The wings are just an add on.

 

Most wing places are awful. The only one i really like is pluckers. For nonspecialty places that make damn good wings I think Barry's pizza has some good wings, so does Spankys. I need to try the ones at Hay Merchant, I bet those are good.

 

Plucker's was my go to when I lived in Austin but I've always liked Wings N More a lot, too. Though, my wife is pissed at them because they took fried green tomatoes off their menu.

 

If there's one near you, the wings at Centercourt Pizza are pretty awesome. Great size and flavor.

 

They need to bring back that Korean Q flavor. I was a regular customer during that time. Now none of their flavors interest me and just aren't that good. Fries are still pretty good tho

 

I went to BBW this weekend got served cold/warm wings. Never going there again. Awful place.

 

Agree brewingz is pretty bad but I like going to watch Rockets games and drink a few pitchers.

 

I never understood why 99% of the time I've been to a Wingstop the food takes forever to come out. I mean you literally only serve one thing and yet it take 20mins for an order of 8 wings and fries????
