Yeah, ward could definitely benefit from another fight or two before fighting Crusher. I see that as a 50/50 fight but will lean towards Ward on that one.
Man, I didn't even know he was fighting until late Friday, so I thought, oh nice, I'll watch it tomorrow night. NOPE...scrub wasn't even fighting on Saturday night. I only caught the highlight, and apparently it was very one-sided. Found out his missed weight. I know nothing of how Broner trains, but the perception I get is that he's wasting his talents and his career is obviously going down rather than up. I blame/credit El Chino,.
The Pacquiao v Bradley fight has snuck up on us. I think it will be a decent fight. The last time I thought another fight between the same fighters was one too many, Marquez KO'd Pac.
Do you think he'll get booed cause of the things he said? He might not be a crowd favorite going into the fight this time around.
Nothing special, but I thought it was a good boxing match. Manny boxed very well, was blocking a lot of Bradley's punches with his gloves and did a nice job of getting in and out. Looked like his footwork confused Tim at times. Even Pacman at half of his former self, showed he still better than most. A lot of people picked Tim to win but I just didn't see it. They had a horrible game plan. Teddy Atlas was not a factor. He really tries hard to give those cool speeches in between rounds though.
I thought Bradley did pretty well, he is just outclassed. He landed some nice shots on Manny, but it wasn't enough. Add to the fact that he got knocked down twice, he really had no shot to win on the cards, and it was a loooong shot for him to stop Pacquiao. Good fight though. Started a little slow, but definitely picked up the pace in the 2nd half.
Heavy hands. Literally has heavy hands. Dude has some of the most prominent knuckles I've seen, that and he's got fantastic technique.
