Bogut's Arm-Bend: Will the NBA do the right thing?

There's no way they would hurt the Warriors by suspending key players during a playoff series.

 

Didn't Dmo do the same thing to Barnes in game 2? or was it game 1. It was near the end where Dmo and Green were getting into it.

 

You have a video of that? I don't think so. Sometimes players get their arms intertwined unintentionally but this case is very maliciously intentional.

 

They already did it for the non-call when Green suplexed Beasley at the end of the game. I think if they were going to do something about Bogut's arm bar, they'd have done it by now.

 

Olynyk at least had an objective with that foul...allow his teammate to secure the loose ball.

The difference here is that D-MO and barnes are locked by the elbows and he didn't use another arm to leverage himself the way Bogut did. It looks more like Barnes fouling him and D-Mo taking exception to it and ripping through.

It's still a dangerous move in my opinion but not on the level of Bogut's

 

Probably a suspension for Howard for throwing the ball at Bogut. That could have hurt him

well they can review stuff like this regardless of when it happens...but based on a Feigen tweet, he seemed to imply it was staying as a common foul. My guess is they put out the 2 min reviews and said they weren't loking at anything else from the game.

 

Dwight will tear Bogut's arm off in the next game. Beverly will end Curry's NBA career. Ariza will knock out Thompson in the 3rd Quarter.

For those mentioning Olynyk's foul, the NBA has a provision that allow upgrading of flagrant 1 into flagrant 2 if it results in injury.

Of course, if they'd at least upgrade it to a flagrant 1, I'd be happy

 

it's more likely that Dwight's Tech gets upgraded to a Flagrant 2 and gets suspended for game 4.

 

Curiosity question - what would happen to Bogut if it is upgraded to a Flagrant 1?
