Either way, good to see them being proactive, might not be enough to get a Rox victory, but could affect later playoff series..
Yeah, no kidding. Also, wouldnt it be beneficial if he just blatantly called the NBA out in public? Take the damn fine and let the media as a whole know about the moving screens, so they can properly discuss them. Arent they the biggest channels to pass a message through?
That's what JVG did and David Stern blew about 5 gaskets. The public knows about the moving screens, they just don't care because the Rockets hate narrative is too strong and GS bandwagon is overflowing with people who "selectively overlook" it. But best believe when these other teams fans see it happen to them they know what the deal is though.
Rest assured, there are no moving screens and nothing out of the ordinary. — National Basketball Association
The NBA responds to insubordination by doubling down on their tactics. I'm fully expecting the refs to be in Golden State's corner tomorrow.
Why do this? They let us get away with a Harden offensive foul for game-winner. We could be down 3-0 but we aren't. Let's not turn into the CLIPPERS.
Green: “I don’t think I set illegal screens,” Green said. “We set screens just like anybody else. My guys get open shots because they got two of the quickest releases in the NBA. Everybody else in the NBA sets the same screens we set. They just don’t got the shooters we got. That ain’t my fault. I mean, like I can’t shoot like Klay (Thompson) and Steph (Curry) either. Am I supposed to cry about it? No, you do what you can do. It ain’t our fault they can’t get it up their shot off as quick as Klay and Steph can. So big deal. Go find somebody that can shoot that quick. I don’t care. “I’d rather you have my last dollar than I have it. That’s how I’ve always been. I look at a screen like that. I’d rather me help you get a shot than I get a shot. So if I’m helping you get a shot, I feel good about that.” milking the system. stay fresh, warriors.
Stop complaining about a harden it's not even a foul. Maybe they shoulda called the hold on Beasley on the inbound
Good to hear. Now if only something would be done about it. It's not like Golden State needs the help.
NBA ain't going to do ****. They wanted the Warriors to hit 73 wins to make a big deal out of it and now they want them to repeat so the NBA can get more bandwagon fans. They've been swallowing their whistles the entire year for the Warriors. They might try to make the series longer since there are a lot of Rocket haters who will tune in to watch this series since it has become 2-1.
The Rockets should run hard right into the screens and draw more attention to it. Or better yet, lower their shoulder a bit and knock Green/Bogut over so that next time they think twice before setting the screen. Hire JJ Watt to teach the guys how to use the swim move and get around the screens. Have JBB throw a yellow flag on the court and signal for holding. If the Warriors want to play dirty and the NBA is allowing it, time to resort to their tactics.
Well, thats the point. Silver isnt is maniacal as stern. Or is he???? Wouldve been fun to have found out. But no, we're going through the 'proper channels'.
