I'm not saying Howard, Brewer, TJ were all being sour. For Howard and Brewer, they have been in the league long enough to know that 2 seconds is an eternity also that avoiding a sweep in the first round of the playoffs isn't exactly something worthy of enormous celebration.

For Capela and DMo, it was legitimately a career highlight.

Its always something with Dwight. We win and someone says, "oh look at his reaction, he checked out". We lose and people still say, "damm it looked like he checked out early". He smiles too much, he didn't smile at all blah blah blah.

Don't look too much into it. The bench knows that 2.5 seconds is plenty of time for GSW to get a shot off. Get the W first, then celebrate.

 

How could it be "clearly" when it was under his shirt? You can't even tell whether he was hold a fist or an open palm.

Look it could be just that the guys were being cautious about the last 2 seconds. But don't just dismiss us who thought it weird to not at least show some excitement in such an important game.

It is at least a debatable scene.

 

Most things are debatable but it is also pretty clear to me that Dwight was relieved after almost blowing that game.

 

yeah its debatable when people always just want to find ways to stir things up no matter what. pretty common theme these days.

I didn't think they looked mad, but rather nervous and well, maybe upset that it had come down to that type of shot after leading the entire game. Definitely didn't get the impression they were upset with the shot selection, and even James pushed DMo off when he went to chest-bump him. As if to say, "it ain't over yet, let's not get too excited."

I did notice their reaction though, and though, oh yah these guys know not to get too excited with 2.7 secs left.

 

If you notice, its everybody who will likely be gone next season
